I get the "feeling" that push button re-circulator switch is what really drains the milage,when it is activated,I can hear something starting up,someone said it's just to keep the cool air inside,but,I think it's a booster for the AC

I am considering multiple suspension upgrades to reduce the excessive
wear on my tires. My 97 SL1 is stock (and yes, properly aligned) and
went through,  Yokohama Avid T4 in 9,000Mi (alignment and suspension
items check before and after) and chewed 6/32" off the new V rated BF

Today I went to dealer in Fort Lauderdale for a new radio. My 2000 SL1 is
about to hit 100K without any problems and I plan to keep it for a while. I
wanted to get a stereo that can play MP3s and after looking at the
selection, I chose a Blaupunkt Phoenix. The radio and installation ...

I'm getting an intermittant check engine light and would like advice on
figuring out what it means.  Is there an inexpensive tool that will read the
code?  A list of code available on the web?  The car is running fine.

My new Saturn VUE 2004 front-wheel drive with V6 3.5L engine seems to be
running just fine, but I wonder about the engine: it sounds a bit like a
diesel motor when it's idling. It's not noisy at all, but I hear a sort of
rhythmic chugga-chugga sound that reminds me of diesel trucks. ...

My wife and I are switching cars, we want to swap the stereos.  Can anyone
tell me how or point me to a guide to reomve the stock cd player from a
2003 Saturn vue....Please Help

I have having a bit of a overheating problem.  Here is the lowdown:
Cools fine when moving well.
Radiator fan is blowing like a Son of a gun.....

Just discovered that Saturn no longer offers the LW-200.
Any links to press mentioning this?  Sort of tanks my re-sale value.
I have a 2001 LW-200 with the standard transmission and Leather. WE love
it, but kinda sucks being one of the only ones out there with such a car

I've got a white SL-2 with tons of black dots all over it - I thought
tree sap; my mechanic thinks bug juice from gypsy moths last year.
Our cars are parked under trees outside our house, and there is no way
not to have them under trees where we are.

I just noticed that one of the top 3 bolts in the center of my valve cover
is permeating oil around the edge of the bolt. It is so minimal that it is
hardly noticeable. Everything else is bone-dry. I just had the valve cover
gasket replaced last year, is this normal?

Okay, okay...I thought I was ready...I had everything together, and thought
I'd be able to recognize the oil filter housing....WRONG! Where is it you
guys? What does it look like? On which side of the engine, etc. etc. Should
I get it from above or below? Is it in the block...or? ...

I bought a 94 Saturn SL1.  At 35,000 miles the alternator went out.  At
60,000 miles that transmission went.  Saturn graciously agreed that their
transmission should last for more than 60,000 miles and replaced the tranny
($600) if I paid the labor ($800). Less than 60,000 miles ...

As per the suggestion, I popped the hood this morning, took one look at the
coolant tank and discovered the problem...at the last oil change, they'd
forgotten to put the cap back on the coolant tank.  Fortunately it was still
sitting on the engine block where they'd left it.  Next ...
