the Midas touch31 Oct 2004 00:44 GMT10
How can Midas install brakes for $39.95 and guarantee them for life?
There has to be a catch, some snag, like with the Monkey's Paw theory.
Anyone know what the catch is?
Thanks
Brake Noise Caused by Cheap Brake Pads?30 Oct 2004 23:19 GMT2
98SL2, 108K
I did not find this issue in the google archive.
I had brake work done at Midas 2K ago (pads, resurface rotors, resurface
drums). The invoice describes the pads as part # AZBP1830M, Midas VSD

What may be wrong?
Tires30 Oct 2004 21:25 GMT7
I have 1996 Saturn SL2 and was wondering what would be the best tires to get
for performance for rain on roads... I really can't find anything special
for the standard 185/65 R 15 size but I did find the Goodyear Triple
Assurance with a size of 195/60 R15...
Jumping Time29 Oct 2004 22:20 GMT3
Would a car that jumped time have just a little fire on turning over, or
none at all?
Problem with 2004 L300-2 sedan29 Oct 2004 14:10 GMT4
First off, I have only 1,615 miles on my car.  About three weeks ago, I was
driving home and noticed my SES light was on.  Took it in to Saturn the
next morning and waited for  2 1/2 hours while they checked my fuel
system.  They ended up replacing the fuel cap.  Everything was ...
wont start28 Oct 2004 22:51 GMT1
I have a 94 saturn and it will not start. I put a new alternator and a new
battery. When you turn the key nothing happens. If you keep trying
eventually it will start. And as soon as you shut the car off it does the
same thing. What could it be?

Code 1928 Oct 2004 09:41 GMT2
My 1992 Saturn SL1 is returning a code 19, 6X fault. Can someone please
explain what I might do next? I understand that this is directly related to
the PCM.
Performance is poor. Stalls after warm up, will not start again until cool.
Timing belt?28 Oct 2004 04:32 GMT3
Another damn intermittent problem. It started in August.
My daughter's '94 SL2 sometimes runs real rough until it warms up.
Other times it runs fine from the beginning then goes rough later.
And sometimes no problem at all.
04 ION Coupe electric steering27 Oct 2004 18:47 GMT5
Anyone else having problems getting use to the electric steering?
After just over a month it still seems odd. Harder to control then
regular steering at high speeds. It feels tight when you start to move
the wheel on the highway then after what seems like only a 1/4 inch
HELP:  2001 wagon tailgate locks constantly27 Oct 2004 14:47 GMT2
My 01 300Wagon tailgate would lock when I pressed the central lock button,
and would unlock likewise.  When the car was unlocked, the tailgate opened
without a key or other.
The tailgate would not lock, unless I locked it, or I clicked "Lock" on the
Replacing alternator in 93 SL1?27 Oct 2004 02:45 GMT2
How difficult is it to replace the alternator in an 1993 SL1?
When I had my Saturn last in for an oil change and safety
inspection, the dealer recommended that I replace the alternator (probably
5 years old) and battery (probably 4 years old), saying that they were
Black Tar on doors27 Oct 2004 01:58 GMT2
Just got an '02 SC2. There is a sticky black tar like goop eminating from
the inside door window frames. (if anyone ever had an old 70's ford, similar
stuff to what they used around windshields).
This stuff is a mess! If you touch it it is like sticky tar that sticks to
