I also have a 2001 Saturn 300LW wagon, and recently the tailgate has locked each time I shut it. Is this supposed to happen? I had a Voyager, Volvo wagon, and Subaru Legacy wagon, and each of their tailgates did not lock each time they were shut (unless you used the key or central ...

While replacing the radiator fan I broke the high pressure, Discharge coolant line. The AC turned on a few times yesterday but today won't kick on at all. Is there a switch that would prevent the AC from coming on with no fluid?

| Oil Pan Question | 26 Oct 2004 05:30 GMT | 5 |
I was changing my oil one day, and stripped the hole in the oil pan. I took it to a shop, and they put a "rubber" plug in it, since the original bolt would no longer fit. I took my car out of town, and while I was parked, the plug cracked, and all the oil leaked out. I took it to ...

| People Last | 25 Oct 2004 13:42 GMT | 26 |
As most of you here know, I work at a Saturn dealership. I think you might find this interesting on how Saturn treats thier employees and thinks of people. Last Wed night while driving home down a dark I95 southbound, I drove into a

To start, my rear tailights went out AGAIN (vehicl has only 44k mi) the other day. As usual I played with the bulbs trying to get them to work again, knowing that this has worked in the past even after having replaced the sockets($25/piece) as instructed by the dealership (after ...

I have a 1995 Saturn SL1, SOHC, manual transaxle, with 145,000 Km (much on the hwy). I do change the engine oil frequently 5000Km, check fluids often, etc. In the past two weeks, when accelerating, my car hesitates, it feels jumpy, or bucking/jerking.

| 90K Maintenance | 24 Oct 2004 22:12 GMT | 6 |
I'm having difficulties finding good information on what maintenance is needed at 90K for my '99 Saturn SC2 and how much it should cost. One thing to note is that it has a re-man motor and a rebuilt tranny at 60K. (long story)

| Oil question What the manual says, vs. what Dad says. | 24 Oct 2004 06:46 GMT | 33 |
Hi, all, I have a 96 Saturn SL, and it's begun to burn oil when I really give it the gas. I can see a cloud behind me. My Dad told me that I might be able to alleviate that by using 10w40, instead of the 5w30 the manual calls for.

| OT: Mussings on mid life crisis | 22 Oct 2004 13:08 GMT | 10 |
On the drive to work today, was musing about 'Mid Life Crisis' as a beautiful early 'vette passed me with top down and guy in grey business suit driving. When many men my age go out and buy a fancy car or truck and/or have an affair, here I am at 53, still married to the woman I ...
