engine coolant light27 Nov 2004 16:42 GMT3
I recently purchased a 2000 SL2 with about 50K on it.  Great car, so far.
Yesterday, the engine coolant idiot light came on, but the temp gauge was
fine.  The light didn't stay on long, but has happened 5 or 6 times since
and only for a minute or so.  The owners manual doesn't say ...
Saturn LS2 Ignition Switch27 Nov 2004 00:17 GMT1
I have a 2000 LS2. Went to use the car the other day but I couldn't get the
ignition switch to turn. The steering wheel is locked as well as the shift
lever. I tried moving the steering wheel while turning the key but the key
won't budge and I'm afraid of breaking the key off in ...
Torque axis mount on '97 SL226 Nov 2004 20:53 GMT4
While getting my SES-light-related problem fixed, the tech noted that
the torque axis mount had collapsed, which is going to cost me $165 to
repair. Is this something I can put off, or does letting it slide for a
while put me at risk for seriously damaging the engine and/or ...
2004 Vue CD MP3 Player Question26 Nov 2004 17:05 GMT2
I checked the manual and I can't find anything on this particular
issue. For some reason, when my MP3 player finishes the last file in a
folder it goes back to the first track in that folder instead of
continuing on to the next folder. If I have it on random it pulls from
Does the PCM control the Traction Control25 Nov 2004 00:28 GMT3
When calibrating a new PCM, do you have to set anything regarding if the
car is equipped with traction control?  Perhaps this is why mine does not
work after having a new computer installed.

Can anyone help us out with this?  We are currently having the following
problem with our saturn (automatic):
1.)  the shift "locked" - unable to put the care into N,
D, R, etc.  It would not budge  we were able to release it only with some
Exhaust Resonator on 99 SW23 Nov 2004 23:41 GMT2
Seems that I have a bad resonator. Dealer wanted to repair but I told them
kto hold off for $$ reasons. I got a booK ( Haynes) and seems it is very
lacking in what it has to offer in the way of info. I have read elsewhere
that the resonator is not replaceable without cutting and ...
Power windows- work for 2 years- THAT'S ALL FOLKS!23 Nov 2004 02:03 GMT14
Power window units in the door work great. Unfortunately the
electrical contacts in the console switches wear out or burn out in
2-3 years. Of course-taking the console cover off and cleaning or
replacing the contacts requires the help of your friendly, high
Battery problems22 Nov 2004 16:34 GMT4
Hi Group,
I am ignorant about cars for the most part. About a month ago, my car (2001
SL) would not start, would not even click when turning the key. I thought my
battery was toast, I was able to boost the car and drive along. As soon as I
CLUTCH PEDAL ??22 Nov 2004 12:55 GMT3
Hey, just got a 95 Saturn SL2. It's a 5 speed and today the car wouldn't
shift.  Seems the pedal (?) rod fell away from the firewall.  Is this
possible?  I guess I got my cowboy boot caught on it and pulled the pedal
forward and broke the car.  There are two plugs that seem to go ...
Upsetting sales call22 Nov 2004 04:44 GMT1
My 2002 SL2 had to be towed in to the dealer for, as it turns out, a dead
battery.  I still  have 8 months on the lease.  I was somewhat "surprised"
when my salesperson called me, while the car was being examined, to tell me
that he saw my car towed in and wanted offer me a ...
