2002 Saturn L300 Warning Light20 Jan 2005 17:13 GMT3
My warning light (the one with the wrench) comes on after about two hours
of driving at Interstate speeds (75-80 mph) when I stop to pay a toll.
The automatic shifting is then rough when I resume.  When I park for a
short time the light stays off and shifting seems normal.  Anyone ...
2004 Vue V6 Remote Question19 Jan 2005 17:04 GMT5
Is there a way to disable the damn panic alarm on the remote?  Several times
I've either hit the panic button inadvertently while attempting to lock the
doors or I set it off while placing the keys in my pocket.  I really do not
need or want this feature.

300+ hp AURA Red Line17 Jan 2005 13:24 GMT1
Automotive News reports that Saturn is considering building a Red Line
version of its upcoming AURA midsize car - compete with at least a 300
horsepower powerplant. "It makes sense to get there, and we're talking about
proposals that could make it happen," Gene Stefanyshyn, the ...
TRAC traction. Does it affect mileage??17 Jan 2005 01:59 GMT8
Howdy.  I've asked this of several people who own Saturns, and nobody can tell
me the advantage/disadvantage of having the Trac traction switched on versus
turning it off.  I usually turn it off, because the light annoys me, but if I
were on slippery roads, I'd use it.
Continental Touring LX?17 Jan 2005 00:27 GMT2
My Pirelli P400s on my 2000 SL1 have been very good performers but don't
last all that long. I lost two to dry rot and two flats.
I was in a hurry and in a bind to get the car ready and went to the same
place that sold me the Pirellis and they had Continental Touring LX for $50
Oil16 Jan 2005 23:35 GMT7
What is the opinion if one would accidentally add 1/2 qt. of Synthetic oil
to the crankcase filled with 10w30 conventional oil.  Will the two mix O.K.?
Can I wait till the next oil change (2000mi) to drain and refill with
conventional oil.

I coasted into a parkling spot yesterday with the engine off. I turned
the wheel hard and heard a noise. Now the steering wheel is off about
120 degrees. The car drives straight and turns fine. What could be the

Rear wiper motor16 Jan 2005 16:34 GMT1
Has anyone replaced the rear wiper motor on a 99SW2? Mine  stopped
working and I couldn"t find a blown fuse. Is it easy to take off the
plastic cover without breaking any plastic rivets? Thanks for any info.

My car seems to idle rough only at idle  and it is running rich.  I just

about 100 miles.  Then the check engine light came on and within 20 miles
the the idle became rough.  I check the codes and got "EGR ...
