92 SL2 - Broken Odometer/Trip Meter10 Jan 2005 03:53 GMT3
My odometer & trip meter are broken on my '92 SL2. Otherwise the car's
running fine.
The situation is:
I brought it to my local mechanic and while it was at the shop, he called
Thermostat problem on VUE10 Jan 2005 03:29 GMT1
Last Friday I brought my 2002 V6 Vue to the dealership for a SES light
on. They checked it out and found code P0128 on. This is the Cooler
Thermostat (Cooler temp below thermostat regulating temperature). It is
a 2 hour job to replace it so I made an appointment to have it repaired
engine swaping07 Jan 2005 02:03 GMT10
Looking into engine swapping and looking for others' experiences and
stories....what has worked what hasn't, what needed to be fabricated and
what fit.  Also any new ideas you may have from your experiences would be
helpful. thanks.
Taking apart dashboard on 2003 Saturn L20006 Jan 2005 13:23 GMT2
I just bought an MP3 CD Changer on Ebay that will require me to take
apart my dashboard to get to the back of my stereo wher the antenna
attaches. I wanted to see if any one has taken apart their dash board
and give me some tips. If I don't get a reply I might go stop by the
2002 L300 Wagon 37000 miles06 Jan 2005 13:16 GMT9
My wife and I are thinking of purchasing a used L300 wagon with 37000
miles.  The car looks to be in perfect condition.  It also appears to
have been flat towed behind an RV because of the hookups on the front of
the car.  The dealer is asking 11888 for the car.  Does this seem ...
'93 SC2 Cruise schematic???06 Jan 2005 08:49 GMT3
Ok, anyone got a schematic/wiring diagram for the cruise setup on a '93
SC2?  I'm trying to hack cruise into mine, here's what I've done:
* Installed the switch on the wwheel, and wiring harness in there
* Installed the clutch off switch, and adjusted.  Oh yeah, and plugged
Temp lights flashing06 Jan 2005 06:31 GMT2
My 1997 Saturn SL2 has suddenly started blinking the two temp lights
(coolant and transaxle) simultaneously shortly after I begin driving.
The lights flash for maybe 30-40 seconds, then quit. Doesn't happen
every single time I start the car, but is happening more frequently.
great milage06 Jan 2005 05:28 GMT6
I just drove from Saskatoon, SK to Airdrie, AB (592.5km or 368.17mi.) in my
2001 SL2 (5sp).  I probably averaged just over 70mph (115km/h) for the
entire distance.  I used 40.72l (8.96 imp. gallons), which works out to
41.09mpg.
Another Cracked Head Thread05 Jan 2005 07:25 GMT2
I've done most of my homework and have searched the past threads on
this issue but I still have a few questions. Details below.
1. Where can I get a copy of the extended warranty Saturn offered to
those who had cracked heads?
Does this seem right..?05 Jan 2005 02:48 GMT19
Ten days ago I went to the Saturn dealership in Albany New York and
had the 60,000 mile service. This was an oil change, a transmission
flush and fill, lube all doors and what ever else they said came with
that service.
A parts reminder04 Jan 2005 16:22 GMT4
I don't live near a dealer, so when my car died I had it towed to a local
garage that I know.  Turned out that the car ('98 SL2) needed a new
ignition control module.  Holy shmokes, the garage said the part would
cost $500.  Well, a call to the Autozone down the block saved me ...
How do I get the seatbelts to zip back up again03 Jan 2005 05:35 GMT2
When my car was new the seatbelts zipped right up when I unbuckled.  Now it
seems like you have to pull them and put effor into making them go back up.
Anybody have any ideas how to put the pep back in my buckles?  Thanks.

Aiming headlights on 1993 SC-203 Jan 2005 00:39 GMT4
I have a '93 SC-2 with flip-up headlights. I've noticed lately that I'm
having trouble seeing at night, especially when it's raining out. I replaced
both bulbs with Sylvania Silverstars, which helped a little. However, I'm
suspecting that my headlights are just aimed too high, ...
$500 car02 Jan 2005 03:48 GMT8
I would have bought a new Saturn quite a long time ago except that mine
keeps going.
Every time I go into a dealership they offer a trade in of $500 on my
SL2, leather seats, CD player etc.  Yes, I understand they dont want a
