Continuous improvement has always been a hallmark of Saturn, and for the 2006 model year things are no different. Automotive News reported earlier this year that Saturn informed retailers at the North American Dealer Association's (NADA) annual convention that both the ION and ...

| Ion - dissapointing | 28 Mar 2005 05:20 GMT | 21 |
Checked out the new Ion's this week. The car was ok. They were not especially striking or loaded with features for 15-18k. But, NONE of the cars on the lot had anti-lock brakes. The salesman gave me some cock and bull story about how the ion has 50% of the weight on the ...

| Removing frozen bolts??? | 27 Mar 2005 11:05 GMT | 4 |
I'm finally replacing the head gasket on my 95 SW1 SOHC because I'm now having to add 1/2 gallon/day in water-(green)antifreeze. No "milkshakes" just a good green leak from the front and back of the engine.

| Cracked radiator, leaking lines, etc.. (fixed after $530) | 26 Mar 2005 01:58 GMT | 3 |
Have you ever had service done on your SL1 (mine's a late 90's) and then, after the service (which was over $600 for a 90,000 plus a fuel fitler and a pvc valve), a week later you had more problems come up that you just kinda *feel* would not have come up if you hadn't had the ...

| 1995 SL2 - Intermittent idle/stall issue | 25 Mar 2005 17:46 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1995 SL2 with 102,000 miles that is not regularly used. After it sits for a few days, it won't idle correctly. On cold start, the idle settles at 700-750, but as soon as I use the throttle and then back off, it will chuff along at 400-500 or, more usually, die. The

| Another squeaky brake thread | 25 Mar 2005 00:24 GMT | 3 |
I'm the proud owner of a 1993 SL2. I bought it used last year (I prefer the pre-1995 Saturns), and it's just over 100K. Recently (a week and a half ago), there's been a squeaky sound coming from my left front wheel when I brake. It's *slightly* arrythmic. It also

FYI, 14,000 miles, less than one year old and the battery fails. Saturn just replaced it under warranty but, so much for AC Delco parts!

| 2000 SL2 | 23 Mar 2005 19:53 GMT | 6 |
My wife and I just purchased a 2000 SL2. This may sound crazy, but I can't find where to check the antifreeze level. I see the radiator, but not the cap. The car didn't come with an owners manual, so I ordered one off of ebay. Can someone please tell me where the radiator cap ...
