1995 Saturn SL2 Repairs24 Apr 2005 20:15 GMT4
I bought my '95 Saturn a year ago for $3,000.   I noticed shortly
thereafter that it was consuming oil at an incredible rate... approx 1
quart every 300-400 miles.
I don't know if I accidentally added too much one day or what, but I
Almost stall - 94 SL222 Apr 2005 04:29 GMT4
I have a 94 SL2 with 245000 on her and she still runs great except for one
little problem that has me a little stumped.
When coming to any stop but particularly from higher speeds, when I push in
the clutch, my rpm plummets to well below 1000, almost stalls, sometimes

2002 LW300 A/C clutch21 Apr 2005 13:34 GMT4
I can't seem to activate my A/C clutch. When I turn on the switch with
engine idling, there is a slight increase in RPM, which is normal, and
indicates the switch is working. I tested the relay (switched with the horn
relay) and it is working fine. The 10A fuse is not blown. ...
'99 SW2 - Serpentine Belt instructions?20 Apr 2005 18:43 GMT2
Is there a place on the web that can detail how to change the serpentine belt?
I have a Chilton's (Haynes?) manual, but it doesn't seem to touch on this
process.  Don't want to pay the mechanic if I can avoid it and I've heard it's
relatively easy.  Just wanted to get some ideas ...
loud L300 wagon engine fan20 Apr 2005 18:07 GMT2
In hot weather the engine compartment fan used either for the radiator
cooling or ac system is very loud from outside the car with the hood down.
It is a 2004 with only 3000 miles on it.  My dad's car and he is hard of
hearing so he doesn't even realize it.  I noticed it last ...
rough idle at stop but only when in gear20 Apr 2005 14:37 GMT2
also, passenger wont work but the switch is good because when pressed the
idle drops, rear defrost wont work fuse is good and everything seems to be
connected.

Muffler banging, but strap is OK20 Apr 2005 02:03 GMT2
The muffler on my 97 SL2 is banging on the cross member piece, so
I assumed it was the strap.  Went to replace it and it's intact!
Loosened it up to lower the muffler, it looks OK.  Put it back on
and still have the problem.  The muffler side-to-side motion is
'03 Ion Ride20 Apr 2005 01:20 GMT5
Seems to have gone south as far as smooth ride, can the tires have that
much influence?,it's approaching the 30K mark.I'll never figure how I
made it thru the winter with those tires, they can't be all seasons.
Temperature reading19 Apr 2005 19:25 GMT1
I have an 1994 Saturn SL2 and the temp reading seems to be high, but this
is my first Saturn and I dont know if this is normal.  The temp stays
around midway to a little over but not in the red H range.

about their engine flush process called "Enviro-lution" opr something

Long Life Oil for the Saturn EcoTec 2.2 Liter Engine...18 Apr 2005 23:51 GMT28
I've found something interesting.
As we know, the 2.2 liter EcoTec engine on the VUEs, the L series and the
ION is an international GM engine.

Horn Problem? 96SL218 Apr 2005 05:48 GMT4
A couple of weeks ago I found in Consumers on-line a safety recall for my
'96 SL2. The horn could come on spontaneously, and in the worst-case
scenario, start a fire.
Not more then a week later my neighbor came to the door and said my car
