| 90K/month service | 24 Oct 2005 22:31 GMT | 3 |
As someone suggested, I registered my '98 SL2 on the Saturn website and it gave me an estimate of miles/months that my car has been through. It looks like I'm right around the 90 month mark, but I've only gone 69K miles. They recommend new plugs and air filter, servicing the

I bought one from an aftermarket dealer, but no instructions came with it. Nor are there any instructions in my manual. Saturn wants $49 to program the remote which takes them 1 minute to do. Anybody know how to do it? The old GM method of turning on and off the ignition twice while

| No response from O2 sensor | 23 Oct 2005 03:11 GMT | 1 |
My 'service engine soon' light came on, and it was because of my o2 sensor going out. That has been replaced and the internal computer has been reset so that the light is off. I went to get my car inspected, and they told me that the o2 sensor is not communicating with their ...

| Problem with windshield wipers and backup lights | 21 Oct 2005 19:45 GMT | 1 |
I have a 92 Saturn SL2 and there are a couple problems that seem to be minor, so I'd like to try to fix them myself before taking them to the dealer and having to pay money. First, the backup lights don't go on when the car is in reverse. I've

| Wheel alignment question | 21 Oct 2005 00:34 GMT | 5 |
Hi all... My 1992 SL1 may have some alignment issues following a tie rod end change. I say "may" because I'm not quite sure but would like to doublecheck this myself.

| Head Gasket/Oil Pan | 19 Oct 2005 15:04 GMT | 2 |
My 95 SL II, 150,000 kms, is leaking oil. I had it checked and was told the oil pan (rusted out) and head gasket would need replacing, and probably not worth it given the age of the car. The main pain to me is the mess the leaking oil is making in the driveway.

| Road Salt Protection | 17 Oct 2005 21:22 GMT | 2 |
My Saturn Ion 3 has alloy wheels. According to the manual they are clear coated. I take it I should probably wax them before winter arrives and the state of Pennsylvania starts dumping tons of salt. I will get only one shot at it since I do not have a garage.
