90K/month service24 Oct 2005 22:31 GMT3
As someone suggested, I registered my '98 SL2 on the Saturn website and it
gave me an estimate of miles/months that my car has been through.  It
looks like I'm right around the 90 month mark, but I've only gone 69K
miles.  They recommend new plugs and air filter, servicing the

How do you program a 2004 Saturn VUE keyless remote?24 Oct 2005 19:15 GMT1
I bought one from an aftermarket dealer, but no instructions came with
it. Nor are there any instructions in my manual. Saturn wants $49 to
program the remote which takes them 1 minute to do. Anybody know how to
do it? The old GM method of turning on and off the ignition twice while

Here we go again! OT23 Oct 2005 20:23 GMT2
Well, this is getting rather old. Here comes Wilma, aimed right at the W
coast of FL and straight thru the other side of FL. My prayers go to
especially those to those on the W coast, 6th planet and STC members as well
as everyone else. It'll only be a Cat 1 or 2, but after the ...

No response from O2 sensor23 Oct 2005 03:11 GMT1
My 'service engine soon' light came on, and it was because of my o2 sensor
going out.  That has been replaced and the internal computer has been reset
so that the light is off.  I went to get my car inspected, and they told me
that the o2 sensor is not communicating with their ...
Problem with windshield wipers and backup lights21 Oct 2005 19:45 GMT1
I have a 92 Saturn SL2 and there are a couple problems that seem to be
minor, so I'd like to try to fix them myself before taking them to the
dealer and having to pay money.
First, the backup lights don't go on when the car is in reverse.  I've
Wheel alignment question21 Oct 2005 00:34 GMT5
Hi all...
My 1992 SL1 may have some alignment issues following a tie rod end
change. I say "may" because I'm not quite sure but would like to
doublecheck this myself.
Horn circuit20 Oct 2005 02:33 GMT2
98 SL1, horn is on constantly....where is location of horn relay? Why would
horn have 3 terminals, only 1 horn on this model I believe. Thanks
Head Gasket/Oil Pan19 Oct 2005 15:04 GMT2
My 95 SL II, 150,000 kms, is leaking oil.
I had it checked and was told the oil pan (rusted out) and head gasket would
need replacing, and probably not worth it given the age of the car.
The main pain to me is the mess the leaking oil is making in the driveway.
6th planet converter19 Oct 2005 01:18 GMT1
Has anyone bought a catalytic converter from 6th planet? I am thinking
of buying one and want to know how it worked out.

Road Salt Protection17 Oct 2005 21:22 GMT2
My Saturn Ion 3 has alloy wheels.  According to the manual they are clear
coated.  I take it I should probably wax them before winter arrives and the
state of Pennsylvania starts dumping tons of salt.  I will get only one shot
at it since I do not have a garage.
