My uncle just gave me his 1995 Saturn which was out of use for a year. I

Cracked door panels21 Jan 2006 01:30 GMT2
Anyone experienced broken exterior door skins?  Had one appear to "shatter"
at the lower leading edge on my wife's '05 Vue.  No evidence of impact on
the panel or anywhere around it, but it does look like the lower edge of the
panel might be unevenly screwed to the door frame.

My daughter is looking at an '03 VUE with the 4 cylinder engine and
manual 5 speed transmission (with 28,000 miles). It is in very good
condition and a price tag of  $10,700.
I am not familiar with the VUE but have heard a few bad things about
94 sc2 Power Steering Pump20 Jan 2006 00:24 GMT5
I just recently tried to change the power steering pump on my saturn.
It seemed pretty easy for the most part. I used a reman and had to swap
off the pulley, bottle, and actuator. After getting it back together
the steering was very hard to turn. After a while I decided to put the
OMG - A Cadillac Wagon!18 Jan 2006 17:51 GMT9
I know this isn't a.a.gm, but I thought it too funny.  Today, I drove my
wife's Vue to the gym. I ended up parking next to this car. It wasn't
recognizable, so I looked at the make - Caddy. But wait - it was a station
wagon! I couldn't belive it a Cadillac station wagon.

No more L300?17 Jan 2006 20:25 GMT6
I just recently visited the Saturn website since my wife is interested in a new
one (She has a '97), and I'm on my third, a 2004 L300. Looking at their site,
all that's offered now are two Ion models, the Vue and the Relay. My lease is up
next year, and I've been very happy for nine ...
Vue goes belly up17 Jan 2006 04:49 GMT1
Well, it happened. My Son was driving the Vue last night when the
transmission (VTi) went belly up. The only two functions that work are Park
and Neutral. Placing it into forward or reverse does nothing (no bad noises
either). Fortunately GM extended the warranty on the transmission ...

LW200 tires16 Jan 2006 05:02 GMT4
Time to replace those 'wonderful' affinity tires on our LW200.
I know the brand, tread, type etc I am going to put on it, but was
wondering if anyone had moved up a size and had any thoughts on the topic.
Standard are 195/60R15,  I was thinking of putting 205/60R15 on.
How can I disarm my Saturn Security System?16 Jan 2006 02:40 GMT1
My remote entry battery died on my Saturn SL-1 on the way out of the
grocery store.  So, I opened the door with the key.  Unfortunately,
will all of my groceries, I did not start the car in time to disarm my
Saturn Security System.  Now, no matter what I do, the car will not

Oil change signal.15 Jan 2006 16:44 GMT7
I own a 2001 Saturn LW200. There is lamp that indicate the moment to change
oil. I ask to the dealer how the system decide that it is time to change
oil. He didn't really knows. Sometimes the sign is on a long time before the
usual 5000km (and the reset was well done).
