I have a 99 sc1. The car runs great, but it has a hard time starting up in
the morning. At a stop light the car will idle at 1000 rpms. Thats normal,
but when I turn the key for to start it, is when the trouble begins. It
only starts at about 300 -500 rpms and chuggs like it really ...

Is there any diference in having it in the trunk,maintainance wise?,I
know they don't check it when I bring it in for the oil changes.I'd
hate to open the trunk floor lid & find battery jizz all over the pan
& trunkfloor.

My 2001 SL2 5-sp has been purring like a kitten ever since I bought it new.
For the last week or so I've noticed that it is idling at a higher than
normal speed.  If the car is cold it revs to about 2300rpm and then after
about 5 - 10 seconds comes down to the normal cold idle ...

I don't know where to start, but here's what happens:
I have been noticing problems with putting the key in the ignition lately,
it's as if the pin is loose or soemthing and I have to use the key to adjust
it.
