| 1993 Saturn SC2 | 01 Jun 2006 00:50 GMT | 1 |
I'm having an issue with my 1993 Saturn SC2. It drives fine for 5 minutes and then the transmission starts to slip run poorly. The temp gauge looks fine (not overheating). If I let it cool down then it drives fine again for 5 minutes.

| 95 SL2 Starter?? | 31 May 2006 11:01 GMT | 4 |
The starter went on my 95 SL2. On replacement this will be the third starter I put on the car, that makes 4 starters including the original. Is the starter a common problem? If so, is there particular years/makes that have the problem?

| Comments on '97 through '02 SL1 & SL2? | 23 May 2006 05:14 GMT | 6 |
My 19+ year old son has driven a '96 SL1 for the last 3 years. It had 112K miles on it when he got it and we did all preventive maintenance at that time. It now has 140K miles and has been good to him. It was a good car to travel to/from college since it had adequate space, ...

| radiator leak | 23 May 2006 05:07 GMT | 30 |
I've got a 93 SL2 with a radiator leak. The ends of the radiator are made of hard rubber, and there is a pinhole leak on one end. Anyone know if the ends can be replaced, or do I need to get a whole new radiator? I just epoxied the thing up so I can get around a little.

| 97 SC2 - A/C not working | 23 May 2006 02:29 GMT | 1 |
It was a nice warm day today, so I thought I would turn on the A/C in my 97 SC2. The A/C light on the control panel came on (and so did the recirc light), I turned the fan on, but all that I got was hot air. It wasn't even a little bit cooler.

| Resealing the Oil Pan | 22 May 2006 15:07 GMT | 7 |
1996 SL2, 114,000 km. For quite a few years Saturn service has been telling me my oil pan is leaking. Since I didn't see any drips on the floor and the oil level wasn't significantly affected, I've let it ride.

| 1993 Saturn Fuel Filter Question OHC (SOHC)? | 21 May 2006 20:39 GMT | 7 |
Here's the short question. I'll follow it with the long question. I am looking to replace the fuel filter on my 1993 Saturn. I was looking on ebay and most are for DOHC engines. Question. Will the OHC engine accept a fuel pump that states it is for the DOHC?

| catalytic converter | 21 May 2006 20:21 GMT | 12 |
Just traded my 97 SC2 for an 02 SC2......and am wondering if it may be exhibiting catalytic problems. There is a slight "rattle" when ignition is turned off. It also does a lot of popping like something is really hot.......even after only a few miles. Mechanic says

| I need one more opinion please | 20 May 2006 14:59 GMT | 1 |
My wife had and accident which involved the front right fender, The Bumper cover and a motorcycle. We bought new parts and were planning on putting them on ourselves. The concern have is finding out the hard way that it was a fluke that the airbags did not deploy when she hit this ...
