Just a poll: How many of you find it important to get your car back from the mechanic in clean condition? If you got your car back and the seats or mats were greasy or stained, would you care? Is it Important that the shop covers your seats and floors so the mechanic doesn't get ...

| A Sad Farewell to Saturn | 28 Jun 2006 17:56 GMT | 2 |
It is with great remorse that I must say that after almost 3 years of working for Saturn, I resigned yesterday. I am very heartbroken over the decision but I felt that I had no choice. I have been working for a major dealership in South FL until last month. I

Well, we are really starting to get excited now. I've done all the research possible and we will be going to the dealer next week to make the deal on a Saturn Vue. Not 100% sure if we will go for the 4 or 6 Cyl. The test drive will decide that ..... :)

Have a 91 Saturn SC which is over heating on really hot days. I believe the air dam is missing and I understand that it needs to be replaced to aid in cooling. When I bought the car it was already missing so I'm not sure what the air dam looks like. I went to the local junk yard ...

| 97 SCII water pump -- replacement thumbnail sketch ? | 25 Jun 2006 19:37 GMT | 6 |
My daughters 97 SCII (DHOC) is leaking some antifreeze and I suspect it's the water pump (original, 155K miles). I've replaced a number of water pumps in the last 50 years but this one looks it could be a pain because of clearances.

I live in California and to register my car this year requires a smog check. I'm not really looking for "Marvel's Magic Smog Check Fix" to dump in the tank just before the check but I do want to give it the best chance of passing.

| 2002 Saturn No Start | 22 Jun 2006 05:41 GMT | 8 |
I had an interesting experience today. I parked my 2002 Saturn for the day. Went to start it in the late afternoon and it wouldn't. The engine turned over normally and it would run for about 1 second and die. Repeated several times with same result.

I got the new water pump bolted up on my '96 SL. After installing the pulley, I gave it a spin. Of course it is a little stiffer turning than the old pump, but it seems to have a tight spot at the same place on each rotation, for about 45 degrees.. Kind of makes a

| Need advice on water pump replacement | 17 Jun 2006 03:32 GMT | 5 |
My '96 SL has an intermittant coolant leak which I traced to the water pump area. It only seems to leave a small puddle when it has been sitting in my driveway for a couple of days - it doesn't seem to leak while running or leave a spot during the day at work.
