2005 Ion, turn signal problem?30 Nov 2006 23:00 GMT3
I have a 2005 Ion with a sick turn signal.  One of the two filaments
burned out.  Saturn conveniently made the replacement operation
tool-free.  Replaced the bulb and it still doesn't blink.
Checked the bulb and in-headlamp assembly wiring with an ohmmeter and
Wheel thump worries - '96 SW2 wagon?30 Nov 2006 05:25 GMT7
Hi all, great to find this group!  I'm a total car idiot who got a real
nice sharp dark green SW2 a while ago, and love it.  But I've now got a
noise coming from one of my wheels, or something associated with them.  It
sounds like it's one of the front wheels, maybe the left front.  ...

I have a 94 sc2 and it has failed the massachusettes emmission test. I've

Rear Oxygen Sensor  -- DYI?29 Nov 2006 00:36 GMT1
My Saturn dealership tells me that the rear oxygen sensor on my 2003
Ion 1 needs to be replaced; it is "not switching lean to rich". If
anyone has done it, is this job a DYI candidate? The garage wants $191.
Ouch.
95 Neon: low beam fails but high beam works28 Nov 2006 19:43 GMT3
The right headlight doesn't work when I turn on the low beam but works fine
when I use high beam. The left one works fine for both cases. Do I need to
replace the bulb or check the circuit?
"New Saturn Aura a fantastic value"27 Nov 2006 22:53 GMT3
New Saturn Aura a fantastic value
The 2007 Saturn Aura may be the best midsize car ever to be offered by
General Motors.

'92 SL fan and engine temp25 Nov 2006 03:05 GMT9
On my 92 SL DOHC the average temp on the C to H dial is about half way;
summers it moves a little over the half mark, winters it stays under.
But when I get stuck in stop 'n go, it climbs up and touches the red
zone. Then I do what everyone else does, I punch the a/c button, then
removing/replacing SC2 radio24 Nov 2006 21:20 GMT1
Has anyone removed/replaced the AM/FM/TAPE unit in a '97 Saturn SCII sport
coupe -- how difficult is it?  (My daughter's SCII AM/FM button no longer
works and I was considering replacing the radop with a used AM/FM/CD
unit.)   Tnx   Jim H.
2002 VUE - Daylight Running Lights24 Nov 2006 20:25 GMT2
The DRL has quit working. Neither the lights or the dash light is on.
Any thoughts about where to start looking to resolve?
Parting out a 95 SC-222 Nov 2006 18:57 GMT11
I have a 1995 SC-2 I'm getting rid of.  Realistically, I dont think I
could get much for it due to many misc problems, and would part it out
if anybody wants something off it.  Of course I'd sell the whole thing
if I could find a buyer.  It runs fine, but heres a list of what's
only 6 keys?22 Nov 2006 16:04 GMT4
Recently my '94 Saturn was stolen. It was driven and then dumped about 5
miles from my house. No damage done to it, so the police just had me come
and drive it home. The officer on the seen said that '91-98 Saturns have a
high theft rate because they only made about 6 keys for ...
Removing brake light assembly18 Nov 2006 03:43 GMT2
I am trying to install a rear view camera I want to patch into the
reverse light. I cannot remove the brake light assembly even though I
am using the correct torx bit. It turns and turns but the screw doesn't
come out. Is there something else I need to be doing to remove it?
96 Alternator repair16 Nov 2006 21:39 GMT7
I seem to have lost, while driving, the lower bolt that holds the
alternator on.  This is the long bolt at the bottom which the
alternator could swing on.  The question I have is:
1.  Has this ever happened to anyone?
1996 SL1 Difficulty Starting - Solenoid Location/Other Thoughts?13 Nov 2006 01:23 GMT8
My son is experiencing a problem starting his '96 SL1.  He says the engine
seems to turn over slowly so won't start, then after cranking for a few
seconds, starts normally.  He says this happens more frequently when weather
is colder and has been happening "on and off" for the ...
2002 SC2 noises10 Nov 2006 16:56 GMT5
2002 SC2 manual transmission
When I start the car after it sits for a while, I get this brief
clunking sound as I start to drive either forwards or backwards (most
noticeable in reverse or whenever I don't give it much gas) .  After
