My room mates said I should take it in for a repairs directly to the

Has anyone had any experience with on-line carpet or upholstery
vendors?   I have a 96 SC2 with 186K,   so both the carpet and the
upholstery are showing their  age.  So now I'm looking to buy, and
install myself, both new carpet and upholstery.  The upholstery was
Saturn Of  Long Island City customers...13 Jul 2007 12:11 GMT1
If you bought your Saturn at the now defunct Saturn of LIC in NYC
maybe you can help. The alarm they installed is supposed to warranted
for the life of the car but unfortunately I have no way of contacting
that alarm company that installed it for them. Saturn of Bay Ridge was

97 SW1 Ignition switch ???11 Jul 2007 23:18 GMT2
97 SW1, 171,000 miles, 275200 kilometers.
The tumbler on the ignition switch has been messed

it to get the key in the ignition slot).

Saturn sl1 1993 door wont open09 Jul 2007 03:25 GMT2
I have a question about my saturn. The driver side door will not open.
I think something in the latch assembly is broken. My biggest problem
is how to get the door open so I can replace the latch, or even get a
look at it.  With the door closed, you can't even get the inside
Rear Door Step Plate09 Jul 2007 02:50 GMT2
I'm not sure what to call it... it's underneath the passenger side rear
door on my 1996 SL2 and I imagine it's the same on most SLs.
I think rust is a common problem in that area and I'm not sure why it
happens. Anyway, the step plate won't stay in its place, so I was thinking
power steering reservior and header pipe09 Jul 2007 00:48 GMT1
Looking for advice as to how to best remove the reservior from the
power steering pump on a 93 SL2.  It has two metal clips with a tab on
each that are tensioned down against the body of the pump.  I can pop
these up with a screw driver, but looking for a way to slide the clip

Now, the CD changer is starting to have trouble detecting discs. It
93 SW2 rear hatch speaker cover08 Jul 2007 17:24 GMT1
I see the pop-in rivets and have removed these. Got the plastic
inside cowl removed, where the wiring harness was attached to.
However the last cover seems to be a bear to get out, the cover
over the rear wiper motor. Does one need a special tool to pop

Any advice on changing the starter in a 98 SC2 1.9L? Special tools needed? I
saw the thread above about it being a 6 hour job, hopefully this one is
different!
