Astra test drive31 Dec 2007 21:23 GMT5
Well, just got back from the Saturn Aura ride and drive. I am now pretty
impressed with this little car after actually getting hands on and driving
it. The little 1.8L is quite capable especially at lower RPMS and the manual
loves to be revved. Very touchy brakes (more than I or ...
Coolant Flush - GM Engine Coolant Supplement ??31 Dec 2007 05:35 GMT7
97 SW1 177,000 miles, 284,853 kilometers.
This car was due for a coolant flush. According to the owners manual, DEX-
COOL radiator fluid only needs to be serviced once every 5 years or
100,000 miles. The last coolant flush service was done by Saturn 5 or 6
Driver's seat wearing out30 Dec 2007 17:29 GMT5
Does anyone have a suggestion for ripped seats?
Should I look for a place that fixes them or are new
ones better?

idling problem26 Dec 2007 03:48 GMT4
I have a 2001 Saturn S series. Has 137,000 miles and has been very reliable.
Lately it has had an idling problem.
The idle varies from 800 to 2500 rpms. It changes all the time. It may start
out high, or just change as I drive.

CD-Changer cable19 Dec 2007 12:34 GMT1
I have a 97 SC2 with an eq and the CD-changer in the trunk. Earlier
this year, the cd-changer failed and it will no longer read any CDs.
The head unit just says "ERR".
I'm resigned to buying a new head unit, and I like having a cd-changer
wheel nut threads18 Dec 2007 23:50 GMT5
When I switched-over to my winter tires, a few weeks ago,
I had almost every lug nut thread off  "stiff"  ...  not exactly
stripped threads  -  but not finger-loose  (like I'm used-to)
Someone at work said the threads can be "stretched" from
Is This Problem The Ignition?14 Dec 2007 17:18 GMT4
I have a '97 Saturn. It runs great but recently when I try to start the car
it takes a number of tries of turning key, taking key out and trying again
etc. It seems to be getting gradually worse over the last month. Should I
replace the ignition or is it a loose wire? How much ...

I have a 92 Saturn SL2, 5 speed manual.  I put in a new clutch

SL2 makes terrible noise13 Dec 2007 05:57 GMT1
Daughter's 2001 SL2 has a serious problem -- engine runs but makes terrible
& loud banging noise. A mechanic listened briefly and said it sounds like
she threw a rod. Took the valve cover off & everything looks good & clean,
plenty of oil. Just 90,000 miles on the car.

Rattling noise come form all over the place.
The passenger side window started to rattle first, when the car was
