| 2007 rearview mirror | 24 Mar 2008 13:38 GMT | 4 |
Someone posted a response to a previous message I left. Is there a way to change the rearview mirror from automatically starting with the autodim on? I don't like it. If there are brights behind me, I want to be able to turn the auto dim on. It takes 10 seconds to turn the

| EVO solenoid | 23 Mar 2008 14:08 GMT | 2 |
Hi all...just came back from the auto wreckers with a replacement power steering pump for my 92 Saturn. I pulled it put of a 95 or 96 model, which I thought would be the same. Well, as it turns out the newer model pump does not have the EVO

| Saturn 2000 S-series ABS model? | 21 Mar 2008 21:15 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know what make/model ABS is used in the 2000 Saturn S- series? I've read several places that it's Delphi ABS-VI, and I have an Haynes ABS book that says the same, but the pictures in the book don't match what's in my car. I've also read that the ABS-VI was

| 98 SL2 DOHC Oil | 21 Mar 2008 12:01 GMT | 2 |
98 SL2 stick shift. Recently bought used. Mechanic did an overhaul before we bought it and said he replaced all bearing and wear points. Should I consider synthetic oil or regular? It's time for the 1st change. Mechanic is no longer near by. (Of course.)

My wifes car is a 1999 Saturn SL1 with about 85k miles on it. Up until this last weekend it was running fine. I changed the oil on it and drove it a bit and it ran fine. The next day my wife reported some major problems with it. At idle it runs somewhat poorly. It seems to ...

| How similar are '96 and '99 Saturns? | 16 Mar 2008 05:19 GMT | 5 |
I've had a '96 SL-2 for a couple of years, and bought a full set of factory service manuals for it almost immediately. Just bought a '99 SL-2 earlier this week, which is obviously a very similar vehicle. My question is, *how* similar? Certainly the '96 manuals will be

| 2005 Saturn Ion Check Engine Light Problems | 13 Mar 2008 04:27 GMT | 6 |
I've had my check engine light come on in my car a minimum of 6 times, twice to the dealership, other times it just went out. Two times it didn't, it choked and choked and would barely run, and smelled strongly of sulfur, the first time they reset my computer, the second time

| Electronic digital odometer hard to read (99 SL2) | 12 Mar 2008 21:02 GMT | 3 |
This is my second Saturn, but the first with an electronic digital odometer. I don't like that too much: it's difficult to read in the daytime, except in full sunlight, and impossible at night. Turning up the instrument panel lighting has no effect. Is this thing *supposed* to be ...

The entire assembly -- turn signal stalk, wiper stalk, emergency flasher button, ignition switch, shroud, and the metal bracket all that stuff mounts to -- is loose. It rotates about 1/4" counterclockwise when I press the stalk down to signal a left turn, and returns to the ...
