Not sure if I am looking for someone to talk me out of ...or into...
purchasing a used 2001 LW300 wagon with 98,000 miles.
My '95 SW1 w/ nearly 180K is now burning about a qt of oil every 400
miles. I did a top engine clean w/Seafoam when I disassembled the

My 92 SL1 had a whining alternator not too long ago (2-3 months). I
took the serpentine belt off and spun it to doublecheck. Sure enough,
it seemed like it had a couple of bad spots on the bearing.
So I bought a rebuild kit, fixed it up and it worked quite nicely for

I've never had problems loosing oil in my saturn SL1, so I don't check
the oil level often.   But this last month I realize I ran my engine
untill is showed totally nothing on my dip stick (dry).   Now that I
know I have a problem i add a half a quart every 300 miles.   I have

I have a 2000 saturn ls  with high miles. when i am at a quarter tank o
lower of fuel, the engine will miss while going around sharp corners o
bends and up hills. Any one have any ideas?
