Some of you may remember my thread I posted about me retreving the old 50 champion. Well I was working on it this past week, and it finally dawned on me that it has a seemingly factory 2-piece windshield. I'm not sure if some 50's were made this way or what, this is beyond my

I've searched with no luck for a replacement battery box. Anyone had any luck in rehabbing an old but structurally sound box? Eastwood Co. sells a battery tray coating (Item # 25011Z) which looks like the right stuff for the job. Anyone used this product before?

I need info on some inch and a half bore, bearings that can: take a SIDE thrust, and maybe run at up to 2,000 RPM. sealed is pretty much required... need to make a wood lathe head, that can handle a 6 foot piece

Well, at least I can pull it in and out of the garage. It starts right up on the key, battery is charging, nothing pouring out on the garage floor, life is good. Tuesday my new lift is being delivered and we can do some serious production work.
