OT Teachers are overpaid! Bob K and P (for your wives and all teachers)24 Jan 2004 05:13 GMT52
Public School Teachers
Teachers are paid too much! I'm fed up with teachers and their hefty
salaries for only 9 months work! What we need here is a little perspective.
If I had my way, I'd pay teachers babysitting wages.
A lesson for us all24 Jan 2004 03:33 GMT14
I just got back from my step-brother's house.
His thirteen year old daughter was killed in
a car accident last night. Never go to bed
without telling your family that you love them.

Let's put the "New" '51 in the museum!24 Jan 2004 01:44 GMT4
That low mileage '51 really deserves to be in the museum. I know, Studebakers are made to be driven (that's why our club has it's name), but hey, it would be a sin to drive that car.
Whoever buys it probably will drive it. Last year I bought a '50 Ford truck, two ...
coil question24 Jan 2004 01:06 GMT5
The 6 volt coil in my 1953 commander seems to be faulty, the car
drives good for about 5 miles then starts missing then stops, the coil
is very hot to touch, after 20 minutes or so it starts right up. I do
not have a spare 6 volt coil and none available locally, however a old
Alternator position24 Jan 2004 00:59 GMT15
A general question for Stude experts on correct alternator
positioning.  I thought I had my problem licked when I located a used
alternator bracket from a reputable Stude dismantler.  When I
installed the bracket, I have the same issue ... the Delco alternator
Help Hill holder problem maybe24 Jan 2004 00:33 GMT13
Hello:  Have a 55 president- stick, v-8, overdrive. The car was
holding back, and a screech was coming from the left rear wheel when
you tried the move the car in first. I thought the emergency brake was
hanging up. Went to the shop, they lubed up the emergency  brake, and

Trim Trader Strikes Again...23 Jan 2004 19:41 GMT6
My wife and I were on our way to Missouri last week from Michigan.  Dale
McPhearson had ALL the stainless from our 61 Hawk.  He finished his work
several months ago and I asked him to hang on to it as I would be coming
through his area sometime.  Anyway, we picked it up and I have ...
