Looking for a 1958 Golden Hawk Button.  These were white with a gold hawk
emblem. Would like to find mint or near mint.  Here is one that closed recently

I can't find the post, but someone was asking about a bed for a T-cab. I

somewhere in Texas apparently has alot of Studebaker Parts and he emailed me
some pictures of a couple of beds he had for sale. His email ...

(OT) For old baseball fans and vanity plate lovers13 Oct 2004 05:42 GMT5
The following is taken from PL8SPK, a book by Daniel Nussbaum,
Twenty-four tales made up strictly with California vanity plates
c1993. Being lazy, I picked then shortest story – most are about 3
times this length.
What's with the FS 2 barrel?13 Oct 2004 05:00 GMT2
My dial-up runs at 24600. The posted message FS 2 barrel was trying to
download for 8 minutes and I cancelled it. Was this for real? If it was
a pic, it must have been awful big. I think we need a class on 'Pics
101' for some people.

digital camera13 Oct 2004 03:28 GMT8
In last Sunday's newspaper, the Schucks Auto (Checker, Kragen) ad has a
digital camera for $24.99! Even considering its quality in comparison to a
'good' camera, this still just amazes me.

T-cab hubcaps13 Oct 2004 02:45 GMT7
I had the wheels of my truck blasted and p-coated while I was working on
the frame.  The rear wheels have the three slots for the clips and I had
two fairly decent dog-dish type caps with the lazy S that snapped on.  The
front wheels don't have the clip holes, just 4 raised bumps ...

Found a hose inside the gas tank.13 Oct 2004 01:49 GMT11
Hi from Austin,
My gas line was leaking at the fitting to the gas tank on my '62 Hawk
GT.  Since I had to drain it to fix the line I decided to remove the
tank and clean it.   I am trying the POR-15 tank reseal system.
