Some progress on the Fura Larks12 Oct 2004 21:16 GMT10
I started the process yesterday, pulling ancillary parts off the engine

Cheap 50 Parts PU F/S New York12 Oct 2004 19:56 GMT2
Somebody posted this on a hot rod board.
ROUGH 50 Stude Pickup in NY State. Asking $300,
and sounds like it might go for less (or he will trade for parts.)
Maybe someone needs it for parts who lives nearby.
A good Studebaker Day, the Business Coupe is Styling 5 by 512 Oct 2004 15:55 GMT6
Howdy NG,

the longest run todate, and it ran just fine, a real smooth engine.

Howdy NG,
I have a 51 Champion dash and the speedo works fine from 0 to 40+ mph. When
I take it up to freeway speeds, the needle starts to swing wildly and
finally pegs itself. When this happens the speedo gauge hums and vibrates. I

Stude and Herbie12 Oct 2004 11:32 GMT4
For some strange reason I'm watching "Herbie, the love bug".  There is a
scene where they are in an impound garage and there is a four door
bulletnose.  So far it's the only Stude I've seen in the move, although
there was another scene where they are driving around and they pass ...

Hey JP, Nice rant in TW12 Oct 2004 03:32 GMT28
JP
I liked your scoring article in the new TW's. How can you go down by improving
things.
The article about the three GH's was interesting also.

It Was NOT a Ground!  <HA HA>12 Oct 2004 01:59 GMT9
Things are so simple... once you understand them.
Jim, you and Wilber aren't going to believe this.
After following Jim and Wilber's act of searching high and low for a loose
ground/connection, tracing everything from the trailer brake control to the
Studebaker Golden Commander12 Oct 2004 01:26 GMT10
Does anyone know of Studebaker made a model called a Studebaker Golden
Commander. It might have been made between 1953 to 1959.

Buying Stude Parts12 Oct 2004 00:30 GMT16
Just made aware of a new ruling that started October 1st.  Has anyone here
had to do this yet?
I now have to supply a buyer's Social Security # to the shipper like UPS or
Fed Ex if they buy a Stude part (or anything, for that matter) from me

AP coverage was terrible, haven't seen any mention on NG, so here is a

It is very sad to report that the Yankee Air museum at

They took my money weeks ago on a card.
Besides setting my project back, I'm getting concerned as to whether I
