1939 Studebaker11 Oct 2004 18:57 GMT1
Just down the road from me someone has a 1939 Studebaker President sirtting
in his driveway, for sale.
I hate to see such a beautiful car go unwanted.  Someone MUST purchase this
car and restore it!

In my first 10 years or so in the hobby, I pretty much assumed all
Studebakers, leaked oil, smoked, rattled and handled badly.
Occasionally, I'd get a well maintained car that did none of the above.
I think when Studebakers were 'beaters', owners mistreated them and
Purdue wins again11 Oct 2004 13:27 GMT7

OK, so you guys don't get irritated all season long with the weekly
posting of Purdue football victories on The Studebaker NewsGroup,
here's a legitimate Studebaker/Purdue trivia question. [Dick Quinn:
You may NOT answer this since I just wrote you about it! <G>]

Studebaker Master cylinder11 Oct 2004 01:33 GMT13
Just sold another MC on ebay (47-64 under floor) There is nothing
unusual about that, except it's for a  Indian 1951 Dispatch Tow Police
bike.<g>
Tech tip11 Oct 2004 00:54 GMT5
I figured out a way to paint emblems like the red/whitw/blue GT
grill ornament and it should work on any emblems with recessed sections.
(R1-R2, 63 Lark) I got all old color out of the sections, than stuck the
emblem through the bottom of a cardboard box to keep it flat. I ...

and take S2D to Alex's house in Oxnard Thursday PM (Alex has graciously
agreed to put us up Thursday night).  We'll convoy with ...
Hershey Supercharger Find (A little OT)10 Oct 2004 23:17 GMT5
One of the items that I picked up at this year's Hershey was a supercharger.
How about one of you supercharger experts trying to identify it?  The number
on it is VS57c, instead of the normal VS57s for the '57 Golden Hawk. It has
a shorter snout (perhaps cut down?), and 2 small ...
