T-cab discouragement27 Oct 2004 12:37 GMT22
I'm beginning to think the only way I'm going to have an
interstate-drivable pickup is to replace my rebuilt 289 & clunky T-98 with
a brand x engine, due to the unavailability of 5-speed trannys or 3/ODs to
fit my application.  I hate the way my engine strains at 50 mph.  What the
Lark headlight switches--what are the differences 63 thru 66?27 Oct 2004 12:14 GMT2
Functional difference between:
63  1558335
64  1561518
65  1565148

SASCO update27 Oct 2004 07:52 GMT25
i just got off the phone with Dennis and to say he was not thrilled with
my speculation on the NG about him and his business would be a
understatement. I now know he's working with almost no help, trying to
get a Christmas flyer out, write a TW ad and continue to get orders out

Judging Divisions question27 Oct 2004 01:16 GMT3
Just received an email from a new SDC member (48 Champion) asking about a
listing and description for each of the 9 "Divisions" mentioned in the SDC
Judging Policies.  I'd thought that the Policy statement I'd obtained for
the website had that detail, but apparently does not.  Does ...

Best way to remove drums on Avanti Dana 60 rear end26 Oct 2004 22:21 GMT14
Getting things ready for the arrival of my new '54 Hardtop thanks to
Bob Miles. I picked up an Avanti Dana 60 rear with the larger brake
drums from Studebob earlier in the year and am now ready to remove the
drums and install rear discs. I tried to remove the drums with a slide
30 degrees,Lark loves it!26 Oct 2004 21:23 GMT2

the Lark started before the engine turned over once. The auto choke is
working fine,I guess that carb I bought on E-Bay really was rebuilt. The 259
seems to work better the more its used and dosen't mind the ...

I met Jerry Cameron, the brother of longtime SDC Member Gary a while ago.
He supplied me with this link to the Muntz Jet, a famous car in
the orphan car history of the US.

Saw Snurdley 26 Oct 2004 13:22 GMT1
Went down to see him and nothing new to report except Vickie said he has three
clots in his legs so now they have that to contend with.
He was watching some NHRA drag racing on TV when I went in.  He didn't seem
quite as "up" as he had but might have just been me.  He said he heard ...
On a mission26 Oct 2004 04:55 GMT34
OK, it's been two days without smoking the pipe, been using the
Nicorette gum and so far so good. I was going through a pound of pipe
tobacco a month and that's just nuts. I'd get high on the Diet Dr
Pepper, than smoke the pipe to even out. If you see me at Reedsville

Played Studebaker. . .Not!26 Oct 2004 03:09 GMT11
This was going to be the day of the Sky Hawk returning to the fore front of it's extreme makeover. However, I needed to get a few home projects done and since it close to Halloween I had a project that needed finished once and for all.  My Waterfall in front of the house has not ...
