Studebaker regrets?25 Oct 2004 06:44 GMT62
OK, I asked this question of JP, how about the rest of you?
Most all of us have had other Studes over the years besides than the

Mine would have to be my first one, a 60 Hawk that was also my first

Studebakers in a museum in Jerome AZ25 Oct 2004 03:47 GMT2
My cousin just got back from a trip through AZ and she sent me some pix
taken in a museum in Jerome, AZ.  It had a 1902 Studebaker Electric
displayed with other Studebaker odds and ends plus a M truck outside.  See:

I'm cleaning up the frame and firewall of the 55 Champion and scraping gobs

what to get.  Purple stuff?  I've had good results with that
before...Thanks!
B/W Automatic24 Oct 2004 16:57 GMT1
The two transmissions in the picture are Borg Warners. The front one is supposedly from a Studebaker while the rear one is from a Ford. I am confused because they look identical. Only difference is the stamped letters and numbers

Is there any difference between the Ford o Matic and the Flight O Matics? Are
the inputs and the tail shafts the same?

Good Studebaker Day24 Oct 2004 03:37 GMT1
Took 'Sheba for a little 70 mile spin today... going nowhere in particular,

I made a stop in Perkins, and heard this little voice from some distance
away yell, "Nice Studebaker!"

Did Studebaker offer a 4 barrel carb on a 28324 Oct 2004 02:28 GMT2
Did Studebaker ever offer a 4 barrel carb on a 66 Chevy 283 engine? I
have a Rochester 4GC 4JET carb and intake to use. Casting number on
the intake is 3746828. When I looked it up, it said it was for the
late 50's to early 60's Chevy 283/230HP engine.
OT - Invitation24 Oct 2004 02:00 GMT7
This am  I came down to read my e-mail, a daily ritual. There was a letter from
a company who supplies us product for another business.
It contained a tracking number of shipment coming to US from overseas, and the
second part was an invitation for Ellen & I to go Pakistan all ...
