OK, I asked this question of JP, how about the rest of you? Most all of us have had other Studes over the years besides than the ones we have now. What Stude did you let go that you regret? Mine would have to be my first one, a 60 Hawk that was also my first

My cousin just got back from a trip through AZ and she sent me some pix taken in a museum in Jerome, AZ. It had a 1902 Studebaker Electric displayed with other Studebaker odds and ends plus a M truck outside. See: http://www.frontiernet.net/~thejohnsons/Jerome%20AZ/

| B/W Automatic | 24 Oct 2004 16:57 GMT | 1 |
The two transmissions in the picture are Borg Warners. The front one is supposedly from a Studebaker while the rear one is from a Ford. I am confused because they look identical. Only difference is the stamped letters and numbers

Took 'Sheba for a little 70 mile spin today... going nowhere in particular, just cruisin'. I made a stop in Perkins, and heard this little voice from some distance away yell, "Nice Studebaker!"

| Did Studebaker offer a 4 barrel carb on a 283 | 24 Oct 2004 02:28 GMT | 2 |
Did Studebaker ever offer a 4 barrel carb on a 66 Chevy 283 engine? I have a Rochester 4GC 4JET carb and intake to use. Casting number on the intake is 3746828. When I looked it up, it said it was for the late 50's to early 60's Chevy 283/230HP engine.
