| Rare, late 64 Avanti | 16 Feb 2005 18:36 GMT | 10 |
I'd love to have a very late thick back bucket seat Avanti like the one on ebay. The late cars are indeed rare and hard to find in decent shape, but you'd spend 10K or more making this one stock again. I wish he had a more reasonable starting bid for a nice car painted the ...

| Questions, questions | 16 Feb 2005 17:57 GMT | 11 |
Will Lark rear springs fit a wagon? I have a set of cop car springs I haven't installed in anything yet, and the ones on the Wagonaire are beyond shot. Also, if I buy the 3.31 ring and pinion Dennis has on eBay, will I be able to convert a 3.73? Inquiring minds, and all that.

| '59 Lark "Survivor" | 16 Feb 2005 13:40 GMT | 4 |
I just brought home a "new" Lark: '59 Lark VI,2 door sedan, 3 speed, basic, bottom of the line (still way better than other makes). The only option I see is a hood ornament, and wheel discs. But boy, is it solid! Doesn't look like it ever had any rust (and it lived in Canada, eh), ...

| Bob's '47 Land Cruiser on E-Bay | 16 Feb 2005 13:36 GMT | 2 |
The '47 on E-Bay is Bob Miles old car from here in Tucson. I have no idea of the rust this guy is talking about. This is NOT a parts car. It shines when polished, runs OK. Needs brake work. Worth every penny of the $1500. Wish I had the money. Why would someone talk down their car?

| size of wheel cylinders | 16 Feb 2005 13:09 GMT | 2 |
minor confusion in the parts book... it looks like for '55 most Commanders had 1-1/16" front wheel cylinders and 7/8" rears but some had smaller - but the range of serial numbers given looks like this was a SB-only issue, all LA cars had the normal brakes... am I interpreting

| I know how he feels, new Bugsport! | 16 Feb 2005 08:31 GMT | 6 |
http://www.notweird.com/bugsport/page40.html I think it would be great if Ted Bastien, creator of Bugsport and the club could work out a deal where his strip could appear in Turning Wheels. I bet the membership would get as big a kick out of it as many
