62 Hawk GT: NOS TT rear end install questions16 Feb 2005 02:14 GMT13
Hello Again,
I have a TT rear end to install into my 62 Hawk.   I believe it was
made originally for a '64 Stude.   I measured it and compared it to my
original and they have the same dimensions.   I am not at the shop now
Time capsule arrives16 Feb 2005 01:18 GMT3
Just got a brand new 3 speed OD trans for the 62 Lark - assembled
4/28/59, crated and put on the shelf, according to the inspection tag
attached to it. I'm amazed - complete with solenoid and governor, it's
been waiting for me for almost 46 years.
Helms bumper guards16 Feb 2005 00:18 GMT1
I bought a pair of these on Ebay for the '51 and everything came looking as
advertised, except instructions.  I could figure it out from a picture, I
guess.  It's the angle irons and other hidden pieces that have me a bit
stumped.

OD T-cab update...or OD won Kenodi15 Feb 2005 14:02 GMT8
I dropped the T85C-OD from the truck this morning to try to determine why
it is snapping, instead of slow-grabbing when coming off of free-wheeling.
The first thing that got my attention was a very heavy green grease the
tranny guy used to pack the roller bearings into the cage.  ...
Fiberglass Hawk Fenders15 Feb 2005 13:23 GMT2
I'm parting out my '62 GT (donor car). It has some good looking, used,
fiberglass front fenders, and some of the trim is good, but the car is
really rusty. I'll be keeping the drivetrain, and gauges, for my '51
project. There is also quite a bit of new trim and running gear (for
what exhaust pipes do I need?15 Feb 2005 12:20 GMT13
OK, got a '55 coupe which needs a new exhaust...  talked to Don Simmons
this AM who was very helpful, but he asked me a couple questions that I
couldn't answer.
1) apparently gas tank makes a difference as to what tailpipes I need.
Oh Yeah... How?15 Feb 2005 09:28 GMT7
