Are there any NG'ers who live in or around NYC who are planing to go to
York who would consider delivering (trailering) a car from Long Island
to just north of Allentown, PA?   If there is anyone out there who'd be
willing please contact me and let me know what you would want to do

Fuel pumps are us11 Feb 2005 12:45 GMT15
Went out to the shed tonight, like every night, to check on the cat and the
Studes, and, while kneeling down petting the cat, caught a whiff of gas.
Strange..
Well, it couldn't be the same thing as last spring could it?  Last spring, I
ot-car joke11 Feb 2005 12:30 GMT1
A vacationing penguin is driving his studebaker lark through Arizona
when he notices that the oil-pressure light is on. He gets out to look
and sees oil dripping out of the motor. He drives to the nearest town
and stops at the first gas station.
Good  visit w/Jeff R.11 Feb 2005 11:28 GMT1
Jeff Rice stopped by yesterday afternoon and evening. I fed him my
standard fare -- Spaghetti and salad and we had a great evening. Talked
about Studebakers (what else) and a bunch of other stuff. Like I said,
it was a good time. Jeff I hope you made it home alright!

Right here:
(Remember, the seller says "mint" is the word used to best describe
this car's exterior. And the electronics all check out, too!)

Electrolytic De-Rusting11 Feb 2005 03:13 GMT21
Am getting ready to put my de-ruster together..
Brought the small tanks home last weekend.
Found this link that has a whole frame in it! Yikes!
I guess a whole Stude frame done inside out would be a good thing...
Good Mileage for Studebakers11 Feb 2005 02:19 GMT14
Some interesting ideas in the earlier  discussion about mileage.  Does
anyone have any other ideas?  It seems like reducing weight would help,
but I don't really know much about that.  Maybe taking out the original
seats and putting lighter bucket seats in to replace.
'Won't start hot' demon11 Feb 2005 02:05 GMT13
This T-cab is going to be the death of me.  Not only is my 'new' tranny a
headache, but now the 289 is acting up again.  A friend recommended I get
a spacer between the Stromberg WW and manifold.  Okay, went to FLAPS and
got one along with longer studs, oh and a Pertronix coil to go ...
sorta OT: nice wheels!11 Feb 2005 01:09 GMT18
stopped at the Ford dealership on the way back from lunch, a coworker
wanted to look at a new Mustang.  The wheels on the 6-cylinder '05
'stang look like they would be absolutely perfect for a Studebaker -
very similar to the old Halibrands, but 16" - and there's even a little
'55 C-K wiring harness?10 Feb 2005 21:28 GMT25
Does anyone carry a wiring harness for a '55 C/K Commander/Prez?  SASCO
doesn't list it online, neither does Rhode Island Wire, does Studebakers
West have a web site?  I tried calling but I got a busy signal.
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to replace the harness in the car I

Spokane NG meeting?10 Feb 2005 14:48 GMT7
Hey, me and the better half were just talking about Spokane and
scheduling. I haven't been to the big meet before and want to make
sure I am there on the best days and also if there is going to be a NG
gathering I would certainly want to be there for that. So which are
