| Transmission question, PN needed | 09 Feb 2005 02:37 GMT | 5 |
I've got my transmission (a T86 with OD) about back together but ran into a couple of problems. The minor one is I've got the low/reverse shift fork in backwards so once again I've got to take it apart again.

I've been using Dave Lester DWG waterless car wash for over a year and love the stuff. Don't be put off by the cost, it goes a long way once you see how little you need. I just got in a bottle of the new "Ulta-Ion" stuff in from dave and

OK... time for some dumb newbie questions: 1) will an Offenhauser manifold with a spacer/adapter and AFB fit under the hood of a 55 C-K? I'm running this with a 14" air cleaner on my Lark and would like to move it over if I could.

| North Central Florida SDC Chapter Meeting | 09 Feb 2005 00:24 GMT | 8 |
We held out Feb meeting out in Crystal River at a great campground (condo'd is more like it) that has an outdoor pavilion and an indoor meeting room. Had about 15 or so Stude's drive there. Was a bit chilly (low 60's or so), but they had a huge fire pit with a bunch of logs at ...

| Aye Caramba!!!-Ebay-OT | 08 Feb 2005 23:08 GMT | 2 |
Wow, I hope this thing came with a certificate of authenticity, because there are people that reproduce these types of tags. I think I have seen the reproduced Studebaker tags like this sell for about $30.00 and there's certainly more of a need for those! <G>

| windlace suggestions and help | 08 Feb 2005 22:35 GMT | 5 |
I am redoing a '56 Sky Hawk with the original black and white interior scheme but am unsure as to what the windlace color should be. I removed the old shredded and hanging original stuff years ago and through it away. I could not even tell what color it was originally.

N8 and me were watching Overhauling on TV. One thing they did is drop in a crate Chevy 350 cu.in. Z motor with a Vortex blower. When they were done it pulled 352 HP at the rear wheels, just 13 less than the Plain Brown Wrapper. <g>

My sweet little 55 President State coupe is now mechanically sound so.................. spent Sunday cleaning her up and drove her 30 miles to work down 95. I've driven her 55 on local roads and she seems fine. Had some trepidations about 70 mph for 30 miles, but she treated me ...
