I'm in the process of putting this thing back together and I'm confused
about the gears for the OD governor and the speedometer.
There are two gears, one each for the OD and the speedometer, one is a

I have two 1962 GT Hawks for sale in Phoenix AZ. Both are 289 3sp O/D. I
have an extra set of doors for the one with rusty doors. Someone packed
jute insulation into the doors which caused this strange rust. The front
pan on #1 is primered and nice and most all hard parts that do ...

Started off Sunday with the club meeting,then Monday I went up home to work
on the 60 Hawk.
Got a lot of last minute things done like the sill plates installed,the
inside rear view mirrior back on,unloaded the spare parts out of the trunk.

pickup models that came with a 4 speed floor shift manual with 3rd
direct and 4th overdrive.

Automotive News this week is reporting that GMC will discontinue production
of the Sliding Roof Envoy XUV after this model year (2005).  That model,
along with the pickup truck option "Quadrasteer" (4 wheel steering), are
leaving us due to lack of selection by enough customers.
