run away from home today.  <G>
73 degrees right now, light breeze, BEAUTIFUL DAY!  Got 'Sheba out first,
gave her a good drive.  Got to feeling guilty and headed home.  Put her up,
was about to pull Goliath back into the shop, and he just wouldn't go (into
Champion Oil Filter22 Feb 2005 13:21 GMT4
I'm adding an oil filter to a Champion 6 that's never had one ("yes, I
want the hillholder, overdrive, pushbutton radio and 2-tone paint, but
that optional oil filter is just too much").
Anyway, can someone explain exactly how to plumb it in?
LA Winter Meet22 Feb 2005 12:47 GMT1
This one might go down in history the "wet one".  It rained most of the
way down to LA from the Bay area, most of the time while we were in LA
and most of the way back.  Had a great time anyway!  StudeBob and my
friend Tom were great company (we solved most of the world's ...

Transmission and bell housing price check22 Feb 2005 05:06 GMT17
I need some info on transmissions and what is interchangable with what. I
have a 3 speed manual with OD and a bell housing that I removed from the
232 in my 53 Commander. Will this setup work on a 259?
Is the 3 speed manual with OD and bellhousing different from that on a
OT Smoking in car / changing wiper insert22 Feb 2005 04:58 GMT6
Listening to the 24 hour news on KCBS in SanFran, I heard this story.
A guy driving over the Bay Bridge from Oakland to SF tried to toss a
cigarette out his Expedition window.
Instead, the butt landed on the back seat and caught it on fire.
Back to one car - a Stude.22 Feb 2005 04:48 GMT6
Ny DD blew a half-shaft last night.
Management had been trying to make me get rid on one of my cars, and I
dallied so long the decision was made for me.
The last time my only car was a running/registered Stude was in January

differential ID22 Feb 2005 03:26 GMT9
I recently started stripping a 63 Lark for parts.
It is a 63V-Y6.
The differential has a tag on it that is marked 456 or 458.
Can't tell which  at this time.
Small Pulley Side effects22 Feb 2005 03:22 GMT1
I'm contemplating the smaller diameter blower pulley for R5388.  Detonation
shouldn't be a problem, my compression is lower than stock R2.  I think,
over revving shouldn't be a problem while cruising as I have a 700R4.  I
generate about 5lbs now, what is the pulley change, blower ...
