is a frame and cab only not far from me that is a 2R11. But mine is the

1955 3/4 ton16 Mar 2005 21:51 GMT4
I'm intrigued by a rugged 3/4 ton in Salt Lake City. A do-able ride
from here, and would make a great tow vehicle. Are these equipped with
a 224? I understand a upgrade to a 289 crank and pistons is easily
accomplished? A timken split rear???? What the Sam Hill is that? No

Head shaving querie16 Mar 2005 18:37 GMT12
Straighten me out on something... When a head is shaved, the compression

Most of you may know that Bob Palmer will make a window sticker from
your build sheet. You may not know that he has a "fancy" version as well
as the Studebaker layout.  I ordered the fancy version because it looks
nicer for car a show display.  Here's the one for my new, under ...
good day in garage16 Mar 2005 02:33 GMT12
It might seem odd to some that I took a week off from work and spent a 9
hour day turning wrenches, but I got a hell of a lot done... finished
the front end chrome install (needed to get some more stainless bolts -
yes I like stainless) and then took everything off the inside of ...

New Speedster16 Mar 2005 00:12 GMT29
This beauty will be headed to Md in a week or so. BTW, the 'engine
turned' disks under the widow crank were done for the conversion to
manual windows. BTW, I bought the 2R truck in the background too, story
to follow.
