| Mangled T.W. mag. | 31 Mar 2005 03:24 GMT | 9 |
Once again my new issue of TW showed up with the cover ripped almost in half with the first two pages in the same condition. I sure wish they would print that bad boy like every other magazine in the world so it would arrive in better condition. I know, I know, if I paid for ...

| Gear Oil Info (Debate) | 30 Mar 2005 20:58 GMT | 10 |
Over at the Gravely NG, there's a small debate over GL-5 EP oils, and there use in early tractor units. Not too hot, but some very interesting info was posted on how harmful current gear oils can be on the soft (yellow) metals found in OD units, synchro trannies,

| Studebaker installed rust option? | 30 Mar 2005 19:57 GMT | 6 |

| how much is "too rusty" to fix? | 30 Mar 2005 15:39 GMT | 12 |
kind of a dumb question. I know of a 62 Hawk for sale that needs pretty much everything below the door-handles replaced. I know there is a "financial limit" where it?s too much work, I was thnking more of a physical limit where it?s too far gone to bring back. Thank you.

| Oil Plated? (ON Topic!) | 30 Mar 2005 14:18 GMT | 13 |
OK, Geniuses: Expand and take a look at the lubrication door jamb sticker among the photos of this nice 1931 President. Anybody care to venture a guess as to what "Oil Plated" meant in 1961? (I don't know; I'm wondering if

I'm adding A/C to my 60 lark viii. Is there enough room to add a fan clutch? I also need a better fan, more than the standard 4 blade fan. Does anyone have a 5 or 6 blade fan for sale? Were any of the 59-60 larks

A young man (compared to me) dropped his 1990 Ferrari (Red, cheese-grate doors, 6000 miles) off for a two year loan to the museum while he's off to Iraq for the glory of Haliburton and enrichment of himself, if he survives.

| Goldie update | 30 Mar 2005 01:55 GMT | 12 |
The muscle car collector that bought Goldie (my show 63 GT) is having it "re-restoreding" it. ! He was not satisfied with the paint job, so he's taking is down to bare metal and doing a 10K paint job. He was not unhappy with the car, just felt Studebaker restoration
