Bad brake hose maybe?08 Mar 2005 13:59 GMT5
I'd appreciate it if someone could describe the symptoms of a bad one.  I
took the wheel cylinder & hose off my 51 coupe today, looking for the
culprit to what I think might be the problem.  Put 'em back on, bled the
system, adjusted the front wheel drag to where they were even and ...

65 Cruiser questions08 Mar 2005 12:28 GMT4
Now that I've had the Cruiser for about a week, I've been going over it
with a fine tooth comb.  So far, I've only found a few things needing
attention...the heater blower only works on low, and the windshield
washer doesn't work.  Other than that, not too much to do.

turning a 3.31 rear-end?
These could be made of unobtainium.
Good driving day08 Mar 2005 01:57 GMT5
Well, after working a 16 hr shift up at one of the State Minimum security
prison facilities, I came home and slept a total of 8 hours (not counting
interruptions from children).  It had turned into such a great day (65-ish
and only a few high clouds) that I had to take the Lark ...

Vacuum valve source?07 Mar 2005 19:55 GMT13
I need to find a small solenoid controlled vacuum valve. The Webers do
not have ported vacuum. I will rig it up so the linkage works the switch
to supply vacuum to the distributor off idle. I could also use a
mechanical vacuum valve if I could find one. I know some cars used to

symptoms years ago, when he attended the auto vo-tech program ...

One of my old friends (known each other since college) showed up today at
my shop with a Speedster.  He bought it off ebay (hit the BIN) a few weeks
ago and kept it secret from me 'till it was delivered!  Beautiful Ca. car
but does need some TLC here and there.  Curiously, this is ...
S/P..F/S '61 Wagon and '53 Landcruiser07 Mar 2005 15:14 GMT4
I'm selling my '61 Wagon and '53 Landcruiser on eBay.  Both are complete
and running.  The Wagon is rust free.  The Landcruiser has minor rust in
the front fenders and one rear quarter.  The floors, rockers and trunk
are nice.
