| REAR END NEEDS A RIDE | 24 Mar 2005 08:52 GMT | 5 |
Is anyone close to Wausau WI who would be willing to pick up, store and possibly shuttle a rear end (axles, differential and hubs) for me? Probably close to 300 lbs in weight. I finally located this very rare part (for a 1933 Buick 50 Series Coupe) and, even though it is plumb ...

| '61 sedan, chevybaker six | 24 Mar 2005 04:13 GMT | 21 |
I'm down to a rust free '61 sedan and a chevybaker six and NOS FOM tranny. Most folks hate the '61's, the chevybakers and the FOM trannys. Something a contrarian like me will enjoy. It will keep me busy this week until I start my new job on Monday. Should be a nice running

| New Jeep SUV | 24 Mar 2005 02:49 GMT | 15 |
Once again a bit of our Studebaker heritage has been usurped by Detroit...... The new Jeep SUV will be named Commander. This will be the largest SUV marketed by Jeep, with the 7 slot grille, single headlamps, a longer wheelbase to accomodate the 3rd row seats, and a

| Moyock is full of Studevbakers | 23 Mar 2005 23:37 GMT | 3 |
Well almost <G>. Today, coming back from the North Carolina Outer Banks I came through Moyock, NC (right at the VA line just south of Norfolk). First I saw the '55 custom coupe I had reported some months ago. It is still sitting on a

| Cheap 58 Hardtop | 23 Mar 2005 23:08 GMT | 3 |
Could be a cheap project car at the BIN of $1500. Looks like the dog house is OK, buy it and a sedan parts car and have a party.<g> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4537784819 JP/Maryland

| Looking | 23 Mar 2005 22:51 GMT | 2 |
I have been loking for a 53-55 coupe for a driver. Some cosmetic work would be fine, but I am not equipped for substantial restoration. In my high school years, I remeber a '53 Champion Coupe owned by my friend's parents (dates me!) and I have always thought it was a great

| Peg trucking | 23 Mar 2005 19:01 GMT | 3 |
Ever since a NG'er lead me to Peg trucking, I've generally been very happy with her pricing and service. She is however a broker and has little control over the companies that accept a load. i.e. I asked her to pick up the Speedster from Stan and Anne. I explained Stan's ...

Here's something I found over at the Toyota group(Gasp). http://www.delorean.com/ Looks really good for a defunct car brand. Wish our Avanti's had something like this.

| 48 Commander questions | 23 Mar 2005 14:47 GMT | 12 |
Hi Stude Studs! It's good to see the usual suspects are for the most part still around. I'm just getting back into it after having prostate cancer last year - one of those guy things - and I have a couple of questions about my 48 Commander

| A few things... | 23 Mar 2005 13:20 GMT | 8 |
Are Stude cylinder head gaskets available at, say NAPA? I might need to replace one on my recently rebuilt 289 in the pickup. Saw a whitish 'steam' coming from one of the exhaust pipes after being warmed up and driven. Ugh! Will do a compression test before doing anything else.
