Can anyone tell me if the Kokomo Indiana car show is on this year ?
It is usually held the Sunday after the South Bend show .
We usually attend the S.A.S.C.O. swap meet on Fri. and stay over and enter
the car show with our 62 Champ on Saturday (isn,t going to be the same

 Yesterday I had reason to be back inside the Ad building downtown.  As
I grew up,I had plenty of time to explore the old girl as my mother
woked in that building all her employed life as a secretary for the
School corp. Imagine having 1 job your whole life!

Sounds like I will have to "upgrade" to Windows XP in order to
accomodate changes in a database/comms program that I am required to
use for work.

What did Stude use for a carb on the R3 setup?  I have been told that
when the pressure box is used the carb does not have to sealed.  If so
is the R3 carb the same as the R1?

Where would you tap the oiling system and where would you return the
filtered oil?

My 60 gallon Sears oiless direct drive air compressor decided to bust a
piston a while back.
Was using the smaller backup compressor from the garage to fill in.

In the rebuild of my '55 Champion 2-door, it's time to re-install the
cardbaord-jute firewall thing.  My old one is typically cracked and cruddy
and I'm not wild about spending 75 more dollars on something so...well,
dumb.  Yeah, I know things will get warm & noisy without it, so ...
