Wanted 54 Starlight Coupe22 Apr 2005 19:22 GMT28
A friend of mine is looking for a nice 54 Starlight Coupe.  He wants a
nice driver, it doesn't have to show car shape.  It doesn't matter if
it is a 6 or 8, automatic or manual.  If you have a 54 that moves under
its own power and stops drop me a line.  Also I don't think location ...

Probably does have $100 worth of parts on it somewhere, though...

headliner assistance please22 Apr 2005 03:17 GMT5
I'm installing the headliner for the 63 Lark we're working on, and I've
run into a bit of a challenge in that I'm missing three, um, retainers
(?) for the headliner bows.  The bit I'm referring to is the little
round plug that goes in the bow hole to keep the bow from sliding too ...

Some pix, too.

'53/'54 vs. Avanti21 Apr 2005 22:28 GMT4

Studebaker friend of mine.  We were talking about the recent article in
TW concerning last years running of Jim Lange's Avanti on the Salt
Flats.  He said why would someone run an Avanti when a '53 or '54 ...
Tough tough parts interchange question21 Apr 2005 22:06 GMT6
Hello: Does anyone know if the driveline-motor,brakes,tranny from a 42
Champion would bolt into a 42 Commander without any modifications. I
have the 42 Commander and a guy in my area has the 42 Champ with a
rebuilt driveline. My parts book shows some interchange between the

Hi Studidudes: I am looking for a skybolt 6 (170 CID OHV) engine for my
1963 Lark Daytona Convertible. No junker or smoker; am looking for one
