Had a pretty good Studebaker day!17 Apr 2005 21:07 GMT2
The Eastern North Carolina Chapter had its April meet in Selma, NC
today. They have a car show there every year. They invite various
clubs, including us, and give them $300 if more than 12 cars show up.
WE had 16 Studes, 1 Avanit II and a '55 Packard! For us, a fairly small
What IS a "Survivor" ??17 Apr 2005 20:36 GMT8
What should actually get the title of a "Survivor" ?  My '51 two door
sedan is close, but I dont think it would be considered that.
It has 71,419 original miles. I THINK it had about 68,000 when we got
it.

Wiper problem17 Apr 2005 20:01 GMT4
I have an intermittent problem with my windshield wipers.  Sometimes they
just quit, along with the radio.  If the wipers are not on the radio never
quits, unless I turn it off of course.  I am not sure whether the wipers
have brushes in the motor or not, I would think so but I'm ...
Do You Want To Know For Sure That You Are Going To Heaven? The reason some people don't know for sure if they are going to Heaven when they die is because they just don't know. The good news is that you can know for sure that you are going to Heaven which is described in the Holy Bible as a beautiful place with no death, sorrow, sickness or pain. Power Brake booster upgrade update17 Apr 2005 19:15 GMT1
Update on converting my '53 hardtop's brakes to power.
You may recall some ??s in the past about making a '62 lark booster

Hey Guys, I'm back17 Apr 2005 18:16 GMT3
Been awhile. Three years after my x's attorney liberated me it's time
to jump back in and see what you fellows are doing. Still living in the
old camper inside the hanger at TN 44 in East TN. Coolest tin shed in
all of Appallachia, no airplanes, but lots of Studes inside. For those
62 Hawk GT:  Interior aluminum trim questiion17 Apr 2005 18:04 GMT1
Here is my question: was the aluminum trim on the doors and dash in the
'62 Hawk anodized or clear coated?  Or is mine just really dirty?   The
trim I am talking about is the black dot patterned sections across the
dash, glove box, doors, and passenger area.
replacement AM/FM radio dial17 Apr 2005 17:13 GMT1
Who made up some replacement radio dials that you could put into the
late model Hawk/Lark radios so you can read both AM and FM?
Thanks

Champ spring issue17 Apr 2005 16:37 GMT6
My Champs has returned to the world of the living after a long winter's
rest. I find that on rough surfaces such as my quarter mile long farm
lane that there is a great deal of squeaking out of the rear. If I stand
in the box and jump up and down a little bit I can get the same ...
wheel fit question17 Apr 2005 04:52 GMT2
Has anyone run a 15x7 wheel on the rear of their Stude?  The ones I am
considering have 3.5" backspace and I'm wondering if that'll fit without
fender mods under my '55 coupe
thanks
The Avanti just keeps on giving17 Apr 2005 02:13 GMT1
The other day I posted that my sold Avanti had developed a power steering
drip (one drop a second).  In that my buyer is going to drive the car from
Washington, DC to Sausalito, CA later this month, I felt compelled to fix
this too.  So, I pulled it out in the driveway where I ...
