dumb battery question14 Apr 2005 15:36 GMT9
on a '55 Stude, how are the terminals arranged on the battery?  Was
going to run to parts store with battery box to see if I could get
anything 12V to fit the stock box, but I don't know if +ive goes toward
the front or not.  I ASSume it would actually go to the rear but don't
Champ Steering column question14 Apr 2005 09:04 GMT1
Hi Guys.....came up with a Champ steering column from a three on the
tree.
The ears on the shift tubes look good, but I was wondering if a column
such as this, minus the steering wheel, has any high demand parts. Whatts
Idler pulley14 Apr 2005 08:11 GMT4
Am fitting AC to my R2 Avanti and need an idler pulley to compress the V
belt in other words a pulley that rides on the flat of the belt. Other than
the serpentine flat wide pulleys has anyone ever come across any with a flat
groove rather than a V.
radiator dimensions14 Apr 2005 06:00 GMT10
If anyone has a radiator out of his C/K, I need the dimensions.  Think I
have come up with something all you non-purist C/K owners will like.  Priced
right too.

Hawk front fender14 Apr 2005 03:50 GMT4
Will a 1957 hawk front fender fit a 1962 GT Hawk? This would be without
using the inner fender panel. If they will not interchange, what is the
difference for identification?

Water pump core rebuilder?14 Apr 2005 03:07 GMT2
I replaced the water pump on the 61 Champ (6E7) V8, and now have a core that
could be possible rebuilt.  Hate to just chuck it... Would rather send it to
someone who will rebuild it and get it back into good shape and into use on
someone's Stude. Who rebuilds them?  Address too, ...
My 15 minutes of fame for this month.14 Apr 2005 03:01 GMT4
In the July 2005 issue (#10) of Ol' Skool Rodz, my fat a.s and the Lark
wagon are on page #37 receiving the long distance award at last years
"The Cumberland Run".  A damn good time was had by all!
New Price: 1959 Studebaker Lark VIII, 2-Door Hard Top Regal13 Apr 2005 23:35 GMT1
I've come down on my asking proce for this car, and will consider all
offers.  It goes back up on eBay this weekend with this as the reserve
price.
Act now and you could be taking this car to South Bend!
Museum Hawk on ebay13 Apr 2005 21:45 GMT2
The museum Hawk Lee and I sold a year or so back is on ebay. We got 14K
for the car thanks to Lee for posing it in front of the funeral home.<g>
Now it's back on with another few thousand spent, but with a description
that does not match the high level of the car. I e-mailed the ...
What's wrong with this GH?13 Apr 2005 19:33 GMT10
There's seems like alot amiss here.  I'm definitely not an expert, but
I think that's a 58 grille.  The body tag looks okay, but what's up
with the VIN number?  Shouldn't that start with a 57 intead of a 61?
Still learning....
depressing stude weekend-- kinda13 Apr 2005 15:44 GMT10
One of my best friends is a custom painter, who also happenes to be a metal
artist with a website which I designed in trade for a '55 coupe paint job.
We decided it would probably be easiest to just partially dismantle the
car and let him do everything while I play more with the ...
Avanti continues to fight extradition13 Apr 2005 15:38 GMT5
Over several weeks I have posted some of the problems I have run into trying
to get my eBay-sold '64 Avanti ready for the buyer.
Friday I was set to take it to the man who is accepting it for the
California buyer.  Started to do a final cleanup and noticed that the left

Besides the obvious front clip change, the VIN # on this truck seems to
be a Ford VIn????.
Tried to ask the seller but his email is NLF.
Stude Values etc....???13 Apr 2005 05:59 GMT9
I was curious about the 63' Cruiser that was posted a few days ago.
The owner was referred to NADA value guide...I also checked out the 59'
Lark hardtop value a few weeks back.   It's obvious to me the values
are way out of proportion to the "real" market.  As for instance, both
