Car Model...13 Apr 2005 05:04 GMT9
I don't know... but I would have probably used a different person to model

Superb Evening....13 Apr 2005 04:02 GMT1
My father in law is in town visiting this week, so I delayed my departure a

Tonight the wife suggested we go out to a favorite place to eat...and she
said I should drive the truck.

Green wrapper update12 Apr 2005 23:55 GMT28
I had always planned a budget build for what will be a R2 4peed 2
door Challenger, but I'm really going to cut some money out of this one.
I was going to spend $800 or so to have it media blasted, than maybe a
MAACO paint job. I decided to try D-A sanding the paint and it ...

Thanks,
Power steering question12 Apr 2005 21:48 GMT1

Avanti that I reported yesterday.  It doesn't seem to be leaking today.
Anyhow, the shop manual mentions not tightening the wing nut too tight
(finger tight) because it will clog the vent which I guess is the ...
Pumping oil into air cleaner12 Apr 2005 21:34 GMT3
I have a 1963 R2 Avanti, when I drive it it pumps oil from the breather
tube into the air cleaner. It has an R3 setup on it. The engine seems to
run strong but I am wondering if I have a problem in the vacuum system.
While holding a constant speed the vacuum gauge reads about 10 p.s ...

odd Avanti sighting12 Apr 2005 20:23 GMT13
Beautiful white 4-dr Avanti spotted on fwy. in Houston, but had gold
Masertati nameplates, & did not say Avanti on it anywhere. Anybody seen or
heard of this car? I wonder if it is Maserati powered?
Remembering events that took place during the week of April 14,195712 Apr 2005 19:12 GMT5
In an article in Old Cars Weekly
Studebaker-Packard has lost $85 million since 1954 and will bleed
another $11 million this year. Bankruptcy is so close it is feared that
the company may not have cars for dealers to sell. S-p officials

I have a Press-yo-luck distributor on my 289.   I need to find out if
the Prestolite is a  full-time vacuum advance distributor.    The
Edelbrock Performer 1406 has a full time and metered vacuum ports.
Edelbrock's email tech support says that the metered port is the
