I just found a leaky roof in the back garage; a few hundred of my car mags
from the 50's and 60's got soaked, pretty much ruined. I'll have to throw
out most of them; but I checked a few of them and see quite a bit of Stude
stuff; eg July 57 Motor Trend....several pages on the ...

...looks like somebody could have used a Turner dual master cylinder
conversion at some point in time! (Nothing like maybe rusty Illinois
brake lines to generate a Salvage Title...)

Does any one know where to find the resistor specifications on
Studebaker car dash toggle switches 1954-1964? GT Hawk instrument
switch, all toggle heater switches etc.
    A resistor with no load has no resistance and  this site

Got the seats out of the Lark a couple of days ago, all the surface rust
cleaned up, primered and (cheaply) spray painted - good enough for now,

Is there a simple to get the rear wheel bearings out to repack them? I
got as far as having the backing plate off and the dust seal assembly
but could not figure out a way to get the bearing race off to get at
the wheel bearings.  The shop manual sounds like I have to take the
