Next Saturday morning at 9:30 am, the club will depart from the Sutherlands
lumber yard, at 151st and Memorial, in beautiful downtown Bixby.
We will caravan to Muskogee (proud to be a okie from Muskogee.....), and

I had dinner at Cracker Barrel tonight, they had some nice short sleeve
shirts with station wagons on them. including a 60-62 Lark, was kinda
pricey @ $32.95, they didn't have a small so i passed on one.
Shirts were made by WOOLRICH.

   I've been adjusting the throttle pressure on the Speedster, trying
to move the shift points up. I've lengthened the rod about a half inch
but it still shifts into 3rd at 20-22 MPH under normal driving. It seems
early to me, since the engine lugs a bit at that low a speed.  ...

..I went out to replace power steering valve seals, only to find that
my return hose has a gash in it...Glad it's something simple.
As I was wiping things down I noticed the following items loose:
1) Reach rod-to-p.s. valve loose  2) "3" stabilizer bar mounting bolts

   I spent yesterday detailing and painting the chassis, today I
adjusted the valves and fixed the horns. The valves were fairly noisy,
but it was not Stan's fault, one adjusting screw was worn enough that it

About a week ago, there was a thread about Peg trucking. I would like
to just say, the driver just let off my Hawk, it arrivied about 36
hours after leaving Los Angeles to my new home in Mesa Az. The driver
was a hell of a nice guy we had a cup of coffe and he was off. Fair

This car is fun to play with - every aspect is going to be a puzzle. I
hope to have the hardware stripped out of this in the next few days -
then it goes into the 110 gal electrolysis tank.....
