This car has MOSTLY only the trunk unit left.  There are no switches (no

Convertible Top19 May 2005 16:29 GMT4
Since my tax refund just arrived, I might as well hurry up and spend it.  I
need a new top for my 1950 Champion convertible.  I could have sworn I saw
an ad in TW a few months back for new convertible tops, but I haven't been
able to find it.  Does anyone know where I can get ...
eBay "silent shill"..just a thought...19 May 2005 16:25 GMT5
Let's say I'm about to list my car on eBay (I am)..and let's say there
are a few other cars like mine already on-line.  I call the seller and
ask him for his "reserve price"...He's dumb enough to tell me.  I then
bid the car up "just below" his reserve, falsely marking the car's

Is it permitted to post a for sale message in the group? If not, which group would be best? Thanks....Paul
Oh so primative...19 May 2005 14:26 GMT47
I feel like I'm back in the Stone Age... my wireless router went tits up
this afternoon after moving my computer.  So now I have to "go in the other
room and sit at a desk" to check my e-mail, read the newsgroup, and surf the
web instead of kicked back in a chair or couch using ...

Help needed identifying bell housing19 May 2005 02:54 GMT3
Greetings all,
I have a Stude bellhousing that I'm having trouble identifying. The
casting no. stamped on the outer edge is: 1551177. Written on the

Empty trailer from North Florida to East Texas19 May 2005 02:54 GMT4
I may be heading out to just east of Dallas(Lindale) from North Florida
on Memorial weekend. My 18' 6'10" dual axle dual brake trailer will be
empty going out. If anyone need something taken in that direction, let
me know.
Beauleiu19 May 2005 02:47 GMT15
An aquaintance says he saw "Beauleiu" on the dash and the outside of a car
he thought was a 50's Stude or Packard in a junk yard being cleaned out.
Could have the spelling wrong.  No pics.  Any ideas on what he saw?

My T-cab's first real ride19 May 2005 00:19 GMT2
Yesterday I worked up the courage (?) to take my T-cab out for a 27 mile
trip to a hardware store.  Since the cab and bed-off rebuild, I'd not
taken it out of town...just going here and there all within walking
distance of home.  Ha!  I'd bought some lattice and couldn't stuff it in
