Brake Problem18 May 2005 02:46 GMT3
I have been having trouble with my brakes hanging on my 49 Commander.
They seem to gradually tighten up until they all drag. I can open a
bleeder screw and release the pressure and they will be fine for
several stops. I have adjusted the push rod like the manual says and

To do this switch, can one get the tranny bump for the floor, or do you
have to hunt for a donor?  How rare are floor-shift steering columns?
Also, anyone have a set of '63ish buckets?  A car I'm about to pick up
had buckets originally, but the current buckets are from something

what gauges...?17 May 2005 13:32 GMT6
It's about that time that I ought to start thinking about moving some of
the "goodies" from my '62 Lark to my '55 coupe...  I just realized that
I have a 3 gauge panel in the Lark with a voltmeter, vacuum gauge (from
a 56J) and an oil pressure gauge.  Now the '55 already has an ...

Auto trans identity17 May 2005 02:25 GMT1
I have an automatic, I was told it is a Powershift.  It has cooler
lines, a green number plate that says it's model AS 21-0 and it has a
torque converter with the number 3306 HR on it.  Can someone please
tell me what this was most likely first installed in and if it is what
Turner brake kit glitch17 May 2005 01:51 GMT11
I just installed the Turner Deluxe Brake kit on the front of my '63 GT
Hawk. The precision of the components made it practically install
itself. Truly "High Holy Hardware" compared to the original Stude disk
brakes that were on it but....even though I was running what I feel
