My '57 GH water temp sender appears to be at the back of the head on the
left (drivers) side.  I'm sure that's not the original placement and
might account for the abnormally high temps I've been observing (read
pegged or at least 240 degrees).  Where should it be and might a

I trying to drain the torque converter on my recently acquired '57 GH
and have found a 7/16" bolt head but it doesn't want to unscrew, any
ideas?  Not the sort of thing that a heat wrench would be appropriate

I'm having a small problem with my 60 Lark....259 automatic.  Sometimes
when I start it the temp gauge pegs almost immediately...when that
happens the turn signals work fine.  BUT sometimes when I start it up
the temp gauge seems to work properly, but then the turnsignals don't

My daughter graduates from the U of A today (Arizona), I'm very proud.
I pick up my new '58 Silver Hawk in Phoenix this weekend. Never have
been a hugh fan of the finned Hawks, but with C's & K's going for so
much, Silver Hawks are still affordable. Very 50's, and still well
