I haven't been able to access my website since last friday- to add
updates to the tech-pages (headliner, and fender repair pages). I

Can you identify this Avanti part?10 May 2005 06:49 GMT4
I am in need of a cruise control servo (vacuum can & diaphragm that
attaches via a ball-chain to the throttle linkage) but I am not sure
what applications it was used on (it is on an 80 Avanti, and I assume it
was on the car when new, but I'm not certain). I think this part is ...

I was over at this site:
http://www.theavanti.com/RSeries.html
and it says that there were around 140 R3/R4 engines made and few still
exist.  I find it hard to believe that there were that many to begin

Hey All,
Dalton here from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.  Not sure if any of you remember
me but my father had tons of Stude Lark parts for sale and a few cars and
trucks too.  I'm looking for a website that I used to go to alot to sell or
Anyone got a box for a '37 CE10 May 2005 00:55 GMT8
As you know, I picked up my little truck on Saturday.  The first thing
I noticed was that the box didn't line up properly over the rear axle.
Cab is mounted correctly, frame is from a '37 4 door dictator sedan,
which I understand is basically the same as the Coupe Express frame, so

Whazzitworth? Dept. 09 May 2005 23:20 GMT4
An old friend recently bought a beautiful 59 Transtar truck that has
obviously been a trailer queen for a while.  Many of you have seen this
truck at various shows, it's white and light blue.  I have been ironing
out the bugs to make it drive as good as it looks, and the generator ...

I know that this is far off base and have enjoyed working with Indians

3rd member info sought09 May 2005 14:55 GMT2
Does anyone know the width (flange to flange) of the 3rd member in a '55
coupe?
Does anyone know what year Ford Ranger or S-10 uses the same width 3rd
member?  Would it have the same 5 x 4 1/2 in bolt pattern?   Would there be
F-O-Matic woes09 May 2005 14:38 GMT4
My newly acquired '57 GH Flight-O-Matic is not well.  I thought it was
just low fliud, now I may have overfilled it, but it is slipping badly
in low and reverse is almost gone.  Is band adjustment indicated?  Where
do I find those procedures?  Are they well defined in the shop ...
