| Wrapper step 3 | 02 May 2005 20:57 GMT | 2 |
Took a break from body work and paint and ran the wrappers R2 engine on the stand. I ran it for about 20 minutes at 1800 RPM, good oil pressure, no leaks or funny noises. When I get back from South Bend, I'll get back to painting.

| Is it possible question. | 02 May 2005 15:17 GMT | 15 |
N8 and I just got the R2 for the wrapper to fire on the engine stand when we had a major issue come up. The starter was noisy from the start but I assumed is was just because it was on the stand, but then it really started grinding. A quick check of the starter showed the ...

| The dumb things we do(OT) | 02 May 2005 15:04 GMT | 10 |
I've been having shifting problems with the automatic tranny in the 4-cyl. '93 Mustang I bought last fall. It would not go into drive right away when the car was first started especially when the outside temp was cool. Once the car ran a short while it would go into gear and be ...

| Giving up on my new fuel pump. | 02 May 2005 06:10 GMT | 2 |
Well, I've been stranded twice now and had to call for the Auto club to bring me a few gallons to get my level up high enough that the pump wouldn't lose it's prime. It just won't pump after the tank in about half full.

| fuel pump rebuild | 01 May 2005 21:46 GMT | 3 |
Just got my fuel pump back from Then & Now Automotive in Weymouth, Mass. Wow! is it beautiful (perverted huh! thinks a fuel pump is beautiful). They dust blasted the body, installed a diaphram that can take modern fuels, installed a new glass bowl (which I had broken) and shipped ...

| anyone got one? | 01 May 2005 20:09 GMT | 7 |
Need the throttle bell crank for a GM six from a 65 or 66. That is the twisty rod that bolts to the engine and connects the rod from the gas pedal thru to the carb. I also need the kick down cable, but that isn't important right now. Anyone have a junk 65/66 with this part? Thanks

| Not so cold AC, sorta OT | 01 May 2005 18:19 GMT | 10 |
My off-brand '89 'burb is only blowing moderately cool air from it's AC. Anyone know any sources for recharging the system? Up here (in Ontario, Canada) they've outlawed the old style coolant, and a conversion is big bucks!
