| Pre Tri-State Tour CANCELED! | 28 May 2005 02:37 GMT | 3 |
Much to my disappointment we have decided to cancel the Pre Tri-State Tour. The damage from last year's hurricanes has been so extensive that much of the Parkway is still not passible. One segment that will reopen soon will be eleven miles of single lane gravel. The roads I

| 62 Hawk GT: Auxiliary Heater Install | 27 May 2005 22:24 GMT | 12 |
I have all the parts for installation of the under Drivers seat auxiliary heater for my 62 Hawk. Has anyone else used one of these? Are they worth the effort? It appears to get power off the heater switch in the dash. The motor has one wire so it is probably a

| 63 Cruiser tail lite lens. | 27 May 2005 21:25 GMT | 2 |
Alas, my poor cruiser has lost one of the silver plastic ornaments that is part of the tail lite lens. So now I have one solid red lens, and one "decorated" lens on the back. Kind of wierd looking.

| '58 Golden Hawk Power Booster | 27 May 2005 18:18 GMT | 4 |
Two thumbs up for Prior Remanufaturing in TX for reparing my 1958 Golden Hawk power booster. The brakes now work like a new car with power brakes! No more locking up either. They charged $189.00 to rebuild the booster and were very professional.

| 5 Speed OD | 27 May 2005 13:54 GMT | 4 |
Available for sale in Arizona is a 5 speed OD. It is in a 63 Champ that will be parted out. Any suggestions for the cheapest freight company to the East coast? It don't think the Studebaker Pony Express goes that far west. Or, might someone out west be interested in some

| E-Bay Search: What the hell... | 27 May 2005 05:06 GMT | 6 |
I often search for items related to a town in North Dakota by the name of Churchs Ferry, in the past few days I've noticed that E-Bay "fixes" my spelling and searches for Church Ferry which comes up with nothing I'm interested in. I can do a mis-spelling of "Churches Ferry" and ...

I've often heard tell that all Studebakers leak oil. I know both of mine do. But can someone tell me why? Can anything be done about it that works? Joe. -------------

| No fuel in carburetor | 26 May 2005 16:58 GMT | 9 |
Well, I guess my engine was afraid I was thinking about the fuel additive, because it's refusing to pull in gas now. I believe (hope) that the problem is just that since I hadn't started it in almost a month, that the gas just drained out and now it can't get a vacum. Neither ...

| Commander 245.6 Big six with HD plate. | 26 May 2005 13:38 GMT | 4 |
So, Grandad's er my 3R6 truck has a 246 with an HD plate riveted on the driver side, BUT, it does not have rotocaps installed. Was this a goof on the part of Sears when they rebuilt the engine in 1967? Or did the HD 246s not include rotocaps?
