Studebaker engine! (He says he thinks it HAS the supercharged engine,
but there's a fairly large piece missing in front of the carburetor air
box!!)

I'm watching one of my favorite cheesy movies again, Smokey and the
Bandit.  It's a really stupid move, but it's fun, I like good road trip
movies, plus it's got Sally Fields <G>. (the Trans Am isn't bad either,

My friend's Speedster is having a problem with the fan hitting the shroud.
I checked all the usual suspects and didn't find a problem, but it's
obvious that the PO was having a time with it also.  I seem to remember a
thread about the shrouds being different for the 6's and 8's and ...

I am looking for useable Packard script.  I need 2 like items.  They
can be pitted, etc. but prefer not broken and at least 2 pins on back
for locating.  I will be attaching them to Mustang 5.0 aluminum (OEM)
valve covers, then powdercoating the whole valve cover for use on my
