Then I discovered that the center (of three) terminal has a broken

Handling/Caster Angle Question24 May 2005 11:56 GMT13
I've never been happy with the handling of my '53 hardtop.  Some time
back I posted about how it seemed darty on the highway.  I had clamped
springs on it at the time, now I have new custom springs and it was
better after I put those in.  The thought back then was the spring

I just got an email from a guy in California who just bought a 36 president,
found it in a garage. Now he's facing divorce over it. I tryed to smooth
things over for him by telling the wife he did good, guess it didn't work.
He needs to sell A.S.A.P. Looks to be all there and Ca. ...

Why do men's hearts beat quicker, go weak in the knees, get dry throats and
think  irrationally when a woman wears leather clothing?

Quiet OHV6 WP removal?24 May 2005 02:17 GMT8
In preparation for changing the water pump on my '64 CDR OHV6, I have
removed all the bolts (3) and hoses (2), etc.
I tried wiggling it a bit, then beating on it, very quietly.
(Tough-rules condo, you understand.) No luck.

fuel pump trivia24 May 2005 01:34 GMT4
just for my own edification, I am trying to figure out what I've got...
on my '55 coupe when I got it was a fuel pump with a metal bowl on the
bottom, with a paper filter element in it.  I replaced it over the
weekend with one that appears to have been used on a supercharged car
Last call:  64' Cruiser parts.24 May 2005 01:28 GMT1
Excuse the 3rd posting, but I need to clear this vehicle this week.  If
you want anything off this car, let me know by Tueday.  The car will
see the hook late this week.  Nate, I've got your brackets off, and
will get to the shipping price tomorrow.
bolts for leaf spring pack?24 May 2005 01:04 GMT4
Here's the deal... I want to try these wedges I got from Jerry to play
with the pinion angle on my rear end so I can finally exorcise the last
of the drivetrain vibrations... I tried to put them in on Saturday and
discovered that the locating pins on the springs are too short to
Anybody not have a good time in South Bend?24 May 2005 00:36 GMT4
Got a phone call from a fella I meant in South Bend.  Incidently, he bought
a few parts from me.  Called to complain about a part.  During the
conversation, I ask him which part he was talking about and what
specifically was wrong with it?  He says, the fender you sold me don't fit
E-Series Truck Fenders24 May 2005 00:22 GMT4
Anybody out there have a perfect set of big truck fenders for 56-64 E-Series
trucks?  I'm in search of a pair for my 1963 1 ton Crew Cab Diesel pickup.
Bo
just got an email from Stephen Allen's24 May 2005 00:15 GMT4
apparently their repro wiper blades are now available, however, from
the pic they look like they are for 56-up cars not 53-up as listed.  I
have asked for clarification (I'm ASSuming if I wanted to use them on
my '55 coupe I would need the later Hawk wiper arms)
Stude Tomato on Speed Channel/My Classic Car?23 May 2005 21:18 GMT2
